More background~ I apologize if some of these are historically inaccurate... I'd forgotten to apologize the last two times, so now I am.

SORRY FOR ANY HISTORICAL INACCURACY

Sēres, according to Wiki, was what Ancient Greeks and Romans used to call China. It means "of silk" or something like that.

Wēinísī is the traditional chinese term for veneziano (with small 'v' because proper capitalisation apparantly changes it. According to google...)

These were obtained from Wikipedia and Google translate, respectively, so correct me if I'm wrong...

"I'm psyched up, now!" Australia shouted, earning various degrees of agreements from his fellow nations.

He picked up the remote and pressed play.

Long ago, China and Rome traded lots of things with each other. The one thing that China wanted was never given to him, but he never once minded it.

China stood under the large trees of the Middle-Eastern forest. He hummed a soft tune, enjoying the gentle breeze. "Sēres!" The voice of a child called to him. His smile grew softer as he turned to meet the young, feminine nation. "Hello, Wēinísī. It's been a while."

The child beamed at China, the extra hair curl bouncing as he skipped towards the older nation. "I made this for you!" China gazed upon the wrapped portrait, smile widening ever so slightly. "Thank you, Wēinísī."

How I wish we could spend more time together... but I know that would only make you sad... To leave your family...

Near the end of World War II, Enland wanted to kill Germany for hurting Veneziano.

"I don't really care how, I just want to make him pay." He muttered to himself, uncaring of the many soldiers he had with him. "HOW DARE YOU PUT HIM THROUGH THIS?!" He'd shouted at the dark night sky.

England wanted Germany to perish, but first, he searched for Veneziano. After returning to Germany, Veneziano was not seen or heard from again. It troubled him.

England found the brunette in a camp. A place where they gassed, burned and took advantage of his humanity.

England was somewhat happy to see the war end. Veneziano was safe from the camps, healing in a London hospital. What made it bittersweet was the agreed dissolution of Prussia.

He would much rather have Germany be dissolved.

Once, Hong Kong had promised to return to China, no matter the cost.

Hong Kong kept glaring at England. "I don't understand why you want to go back..." England sighed as he signed Hong Kong back to China. "Why do you want Veneziano to be so close to you?"

England looked at him, smiling knowingly, before handing him the documents. "Just tell China to sign it, then you will officially be his again." Hong Kong's cheeks turned pink at the words. "I know that, i-idiot!" England just chuckled at his flustered appearance.

Taiwan looked torn between crying and smiling. "At least they're all together now..." North Vietnam nodded at her words. Mongolia teared up a bit, knowing how protective China can get about Hong Kong.

Romano kept glaring at the desk, recalling the horrors he and his brother faced in those camps... Belgium hugged him tightly, eyes glaring straight at Germany, who sat with a tenseness only found in guilty, rueful people. Ireland tried to get the tension out of Germany's shoulders and back.

America clenched his fist, smiling an empty smile. Scotland was only barely keeping him from committing murder. Canada was trying to calm him, as well.

Egypt kept one on America and another on his brothers. Greece and Turkey were both physically trying to reign their temper in.

Orlando and Greenland only had a vague sense of what the camps were like, but they were glad to know England found him. They were beginning to wonder how close Italy was with their brothers, considering China, of all people, wanted him in the day.

Wy, Hutt River, Moldova and Latvia were just glad that everyone would be okay once this is all over. It was peacetime and they were all together, now, so everything would work out...

Right...?
