CH6: Going Home
{ E L S A }
"I think its getting late. I should go now." I said to Merida, standing up.
The sun was almost down and the sky was dark already. Anna might be worried sick and also, suspicious.
"Yea ay think mah mum would be worried sick now." Merida stood up too.
"Hey guys, were going home now." I said, pointing to the back.
"We're coming with you." Hiccup said, jumping off.
"We are?" Jack said casually, jumping off too.
"Lets just go now mates." Merida said, rushing forward fast.
"Wait.. were walking?" Jack said, this time sounding surprised.
"Yea bud. What do you expect? The bus still here at this time?" Hiccup said simply.
There were a few students left. Most of them came from detention. There was even a few making out, which disgusted me.
I was in the midst of Hiccup and Jack. Merida was far away, but also close. It actually became silent for a while. We got out of school grounds and started to walk in the sidewalk. Merida paused in her place and waited for us.
"Ye guys ar slow." She said, positioning inbetween me and Hiccup.
"You ran." Hiccup said.
"Ye got a point there mate." She responded.
They soon dazed into conversation. I was just walking beside them silently. In fact, awkwardly. I don't even know how I got friends so soon. I just stared at the floor, walking alongside them.

Sigh.. I don't have the guts to do it. I don't have the guts to talk to her. She's just walking, staring at the ground. And here I am staring at her. Merida and Hiccup seem to be doing fine conversing. Why is it I can't speak to her? Is it really like this when you like someone? You find it hard to talk?
"Okay this is my house now. So.. bye." Hiccup said as we all stopped in front of his house.
"Bye Hic." Mer said, her rough scottish accent so hard to miss.
"Yea, bye." Elsa added.
"See ya tomorrow bud." I said softly, hands in my pants pockets.
Hiccup took out his key and went inside. As he slammed the door shut, we continued walking.
The walk home was pretty much silent. Mer went far front, leaving me and Elsa behind.
"Ye two ar slow alr'ght" Mer laughed as she stopped a few meters away.
"How do you even walk so fast?" Elsa asked as we finally reached next to her.
"Family blood? Ay don't know." Merida chuckled after.
I walked silently alongside them as they conversed. Elsa is really becoming close to Mer. What if she becomes close with everyone? Then she'd be in our group.
I just put my hood on, placed my hands in my jacket's pocket and stared to the ground.
They kept laughing, talking and.. nudging each other? I just walked alongside them.
Do I talk? Nahh that would just be awkward. But if I keep myself from speaking, we would never grow close.
Sigh..
Soon, we arrived at Merida's house.
"Bye mates. Enjoy the walk home." Merida smirked.
I blushed. Not sure if Elsa did but she didn't speak.
