CH3: Lunch Time
{ J A C K }
I made it to the hideout. None of them was there yet. So, I decided to get my staff, rather my father's staff, and carve stuff on it. I often do that when I'm bored and when I'm down. Right now, I'm bored waiting for my friends.
I climbed the tree, sat on a branch, and started to carve. Luckily, no one was there. I wouldn't see girls caking makeup on their faces, boys shoot angry looks at me, teachers sneer. Nope. No one there.
Suddenly, I saw Punzie dragging Hiccup. Wow, is Punzie mad?
"Punz, you mad?" I jumped off the tree, dropping my staff and pocket knife.
"AHHH! Oh God, Jack?!?!" Punzie let go of Hiccup in surprise.
"No she's not. She's just in some hurry and didn't bother to wait for Mer." Hiccup said, rubbing the part of his arm where Punzie was grasping.
"Mer can take care of herself. Why do we have to wait?" Punzie said, with an angered tone.
"Well.. uhh.. because we're her friends." Hiccup said, a bit hesitantly.
Ohh Hiccup. If only you realize that Punz here has a thing for you. Sigh.. Love is really messing with people's minds.
Like mine, perhaps.
"Fine Rap! You win! Geez." Hiccup raised his hands in surrender. I guess I missed their fight.
"Hey mates. Sorry ay'm layte. App'rently, Mavis and ay talked through Physics class, eh." Mer came approaching.
"Yeah.. You missed doing the experiment." Punz said, a bit cheery and a bit angered. Mixed emotions.
"And the fight" I murmured to myself, chuckling softly.
"What cha say, mate?" Mer asked.
"Nothing." I smirked.
"So how was Art, Frost?" Punzie asked me grinning.
Oh great. Not again.
I just blushed, speechless. They've begun teasing again. They suck as friends.
"Ohh look who's blushing." Hiccup grinned widely.
"Ohh I remember me and Hiccup introduced to Elsa a little earlier. Want us to call her?" Punzie smirked mischievously.
"No No No Please No" I begged them.
"Ay'm sorry Jack, but ay think it's tew layte for that." Mer said apologetically but grinning. I look to see Hiccup gone.
Great Jack. You're coming into a mess now.

Sigh.. It's lunch. Anna and I always eat lunch together on first days. But somehow, today, she wants her distance.
"I'm sorry, Else. I have friends to eat with. Can't you eat with someone else?" She said, glancing at her back about three times now.
"But you promised." I said, a bit sadly.
"I know, but please.. Just this once." She begged me.
"Oh fine." I rolled my eyes.
"YAY! Thank you, sis." She hopped her way back cheerfully.
I sighed as I carried my tray into an empty table in the corner. Apparently, it was next to the garbage can. I guess I was right. High school is going to be a bummer, just like my summer.
