The human slept through the night. Meatlug determined it was due to exhaustion from the voyage as well as all of the shock she had encountered. When I had finished my duties for the evening and came to retire I had an argument with Meatlug and Stormfly over the use of my chambers.
"I just want to sleep in my chambers what's so wrong with that? I won't sleep in the bed I'll use the settee or have a futon brought in." I argued.
"You can't sleep in here with a human female especially since she is unconscious and feeling unwell." Meatlug argued.
"Your the one who scared her in the first place." Stormfly pointed out. "You didn't need to go Alpha dragon on her."
"I'm not going to do anything to her. Spare me some integrity here I wouldn't take advantage of an unconscious dragon let alone a human female at that. I will assume my dragon form and sleep on the floor in case she wakes up. You can stay in the room if it bothers you so much." I argued back
In the end a compromise was reached. I slept on the floor in my dragon form and Meatlug and Stormfly took turns staying by her bedside.

I felt myself waking up and I wondered where I was as I opened my eyes and looked around. It was a stone room unfamiliar to me. All the homes and ships of Berk were made of wood so this indeed was foreign to me. I tried to rack my brain for my last memories: the voyage on the ship, reaching land, bidding farewell to my father, the small cloaked congregation on shore....a dragon.
That's right a dragon.
That was my last memory. I was meant to be sacrificed to the dragons for the people of Berk but yet I was alive. I searched over my body for injuries and found none. Had I been rescued? and if so by whom? and more importantly where was I?
I lifted the furs that covered me to reveal I was no longer wearing my mother's dress but had been undressed down to my shift. My boots removed as well. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood quickly feeling immediately dizzy and lightheaded. I sat back down onto the mattress grasping my head and wincing. I felt dehydrated and woozy at that point wondering how long had I been asleep. I heard a knock at the door and sat up panicked wondering who would enter. I stood up to fast once again and collapsed on the floor. The door flew open and a heavy set woman with large eyes came in immediately.
"Oh, you poor dear!" She cried out and set a tray down and came rushing over towards me and knelt beside me on the floor. "Can you stand?" she asked. I nodded my head weakly and she held me by the arms helping me up from the floor back towards the bed to sit down.
"Poor thing you are thin as a rail and white as a sheet. I'll have my work cut out for me." She said clucking her tongue and fussing about helping me sit up in bed against the pillows. She then brought the tray over which had a mug of water and a bowl of soup and a piece of bread on it.
"Here eat this you need to build up your strength. Then I will answer any questions you have which I am sure you have plenty of." she said in a commanding motherly way. I nodded my head obediently seeing I had little choice and why argue it had been a long time since I had been fussed over. I took a long drink of water which felt wonderful against my dry and then took a careful spoonful of soup which was a fish broth with bits of cod. I ate everything on the tray and when I had finished she took the tray away.
"Now the answer to your first question I am Meatlug. I am the healer here." she said.
I looked at her puzzled "I'm sorry I don't think I heard you right. You said your name is Meatlug?"
