Chapter 15: Healing With Songs

Kiera's POV:
It had been about 4 weeks after I had been released from the hospital, and I was doing a lot better my rib brace had been taking off and I only had to wait a couple more weeks to get my leg cast off then I could go back to work like normal. Kota had almost never left my side the whole time I've been recovering, the only times he did was when he had to go to work but then my dad would come back and stay with me until he had to go and pick them up again.

I was down in the kitchen making myself something to eat and drink along with putting food out for Ace and Little Yamada, I was glad to have a little time alone for once, I mean don't get me wrong I love Kota I really do he's my whole world but the whole over protective boyfriend thing was getting kind of old by this point. He seriously wouldn't let me do anything for myself even though by this point I was capable of doing almost everything I could before,

''*sigh* I wish he would just let me do some things on my own, its not like I'm as helpless as I was the day I got released. What do you think Ace do you agree with me?'' I asked rubbing my little kitten under the chin he turned to me and rubbed his head into my hand 

*meow*

I smiled and picked him up, cradling him in my arms and rubbing his little stomach, making him purr in bliss 

''I knew you would agree with me little one, now come on lets get your food and Little Yamada's too'' I said placing him back down on the counter as I opened two tins of food one for a kitten and one for a grown dog. Just then Little Yamada bound into the kitchen and jumped up placing his front paws on the counter so he could see what I was doing. ''Haha hey boy, I'm just getting your food now okay?'' I said with a smile as I rubbed his head he gave a small woof as he continued watching me.

After I put all the food out I carried the two pet bowls through to the living room where I bumped into Kota who had just woken up, his eyes widened as he took the two bowls off of me, putting them on the ground then leading me over to the couch and sitting me down,

''if you were gonna feed them you could have woken me up I would have got that for you'' he said walking through to the kitchen and bringing my sandwich through to me then sitting beside me, he lifted a bit of the sandwich up to my mouth with a smile making me roll my eyes.

''Kota... Sweetie I love you, I really do but if I'm remembering correctly its my leg that's got the cast not my arms I can feed myself you know. And saying that I'm almost fully healed I can start doing simple things like feeding the pets and making my own food myself honestly'' I said taking the plate off of him and starting to eat myself,

''she's got a point Kota, she's not as weak or frail as she was a few weeks ago you have to give her some credit for that. She's been healing fast'' Takashi said as he walked down the stairs with the other guys following him since they had a recording session the back garden today

''well yeah but you never know, if she falls or something it could make it worse then she'll have to go back into hospital and...'' Kota started but he was stopped by Kyohei who placed his hand on Kota's shoulder and shook his head with a smile.

''Being protective is fine but being unnecessarily over protective now that is a big turn off for girls I thought you would at least know that much'' he stated Kota looked to me as I just nodded to him putting my plate back down on the coffee table in front of me

''anyway we have a recording session today that includes you too Kiera since, even though you can't preform until your legs better you can still sing in the recording booth with everyone else. And I'm going to be just as hard on you as everyone else to get these songs perfect'' Takashi said as he walked out into the garden
