'Ugh my head... What the hell happened to me' I thought as I sat up holding my head, as my eyes adjusted to the dim lighting I noticed that the room I was in was in the style of a princess room, that's when it all came back to me. ''Monica... But why? And what did she mean when she had too because she had no other choice'' I mumbled to myself as I looked around the room from where I was sitting in the bed. Just then the door quietly open and someone walked in closing the door behind them,
''I see your awake, I'm glad to see that'' Monica said as she walked over and placed a tray with food and drink on the bedside table then sitting at the end of the bed with her hands folded on her lap, I noticed that she had changed back into the uptight princess dress that she was always forced to wear. And even though she made those kinds of things look good, she never liked those kinds of outfits, (Monica in her princess outfit only she isn't happy like in the picture)

''You look miserable'' I stated as I lifted the tray into my lap and lifted the warm soup to my mouth slowly eating it, Monica nodded and gripped her hands a little tighter together,
''your right old friend, after all you know what my past was like, you know how my life is now that is why.... I won't kill you. I can't your my best friend and only you understand me, no one else in this damn place knows how I feel'' Monica said her eyes filling with anger and range, I sighed and placed the tray down as I shuffled over to sit beside her placing my hand on her shoulder.
''I know, you never wanted this life, all you wanted was to enter show business, to be free and express yourself and emotions through your music, after all that's why we became best friends. You would sneak out to meet me and we would sing and dance until you had to go back in'' I said as I remembered the memories with a fond smile. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Monica smile too as she nodded her head,
''yes, you were my only friend then and even now... I... I want you to know that I wasn't the one who killed your mother or the one who wrote that note, yes I am an assassin but I would never do that to you. That was one of the family guards who has no honour. Please forgive me for kidnapping you though, I didn't want him coming after you so I snatched you away so he couldn't find you'' Monica said bowing her head low, I just smiled and raised her head and taking her tiara off letting her hair fall.
''Don't apologise, your royalty whether you want to be or not. Also you did what you thought would be best for my safety and I don't hate you for it, but I want to ask you one favour if that's okay? Well two but I promise you, you will love what you get out of it'' I said standing up, Monica stood up after me with her face looking a little brighter than it had previously.
''Anything for you Kiera, I don't care what I get out of it but I will do anything for my best friend that helped me through several dark times as a child'' Monica said with a slightly hopeful smile, I returned her smile then pointed to the phone across the room,
''let me call Kota, my fiance. He, my father and the other guys are probably worried sick and I want them to know that I'm safe and that you had nothing to do with any of this killing stuff'' I replied, Monica nodded instantly, I smiled and walked over to the phone dialing in Kota's number and waiting for him to pick up.
Kota- Who is this? If your the ones who have Kiera you better let her go now or your gonna regret the day you ever messed with her!
Kiera- Wow Kota, I knew you loved me but I've never heard you this riled up before. Its cute
Kota- K...Kiera?!
Kiera- Yeah its me, listen I don't want you to worry about me I'm fine and I'm safe. Also tell Iori that the girl who took me, Monica she wasn't responsible for any of this. She only wanted to keep me safe from the real assassin behind it. She's my best friend and only wants to escape from the cage she's in being a princess, so I'm bringing her back with me and helping her realise her dream of being in the singing business. I can't leave her here.
Kota- I'm glad your safe Kiera, that's so much weight off my mind. And don't worry about bringing her back, all the guys can hear you and their all nodding along with what you were saying. If she's miserable there then she's welcome here, esspecially since she saved you
Kiera- I'm glad, all of you just wait for me I'll be back soon
Kota- we will. Guess I have no use for the tracking device in your pendent then. It was in case something like this happened so I could find you but if your safe then there's no need for it now. Come home to me safe Kiera, I love you

After I hung up the phone and turned around to Monica I saw her standing there with happy tears in her eyes,
''you.... your really getting me out of this hell hole?'' She asked her voice quivering, I smiled and nodded softly as I opened my arms
''of course your my best friend and like I said I couldn't leave you here and escape myself'' I replied, she sniffed then ran into my arms and hugged me as I hugged her back just as tightly
''thank you! You really are the best friend I could ever ask for'' Monica squealed in joy I smiled and nodded
''of course now come on you should get changed then we have to go. I don't know when that guard guy will come here to look for me and I'm sure you wont know either, we have to be inconspicuous and fast'' I said pulling back with a serious look on my face, Monica nodded and ran over to the wardrobe pulling an outfit out and changing into it after that we hurried out of the room and snuck our way through the castle to the main hall where we could get out.
''Your not going anywhere target!'' Someone suddenly shouted just as we were about to escape as they grabbed me and held me against their chest with a sharp blade to my throat, ''you've evaded me because the princess saved and sheltered you, how noble but your not leaving here alive'' the males voice sneered into my ear, I growled at him and looked over to Monica who was looking panicked.
''Kiera!...... W.... What do I do?! I mean I could attack but what if I hurt you and I can't do that or what if..... what if?!'' Monica shouted as she gripped her head,
''Calm down Mona, listen I've always known your a sharp shot, you have a sharp eye and never miss your target. So breath, trust my judgment and trust your own skills because you have them and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You can do anything if you just believe'' I shouted then smiled reassuringly at her, she slowly looked to me then started to calm down as she smiled back at me.
''Your right K, I shouldn't doubt myself I can and I will save you. And traitors even though death is no mandatory he is threatening to take your life, lets see how he feels'' Monica said as she grabbed the bow on her back along with an arrow from her quiver and lined it up,
''ha! Sorry your highness but you don't have the guts and who's to say I wont make you kill her by moving her in the way trust me you should just give up and go back to your room like a good little noble'' the guard said before staring to laugh, but this time Monica didn't falter and I smirked knowing what that meant.
''Sorry bucko, but when Mona is focused there is nothing you can do to win. Your through'' I said with a smile, before he could fire back or hurt me at all, his grasp was gone as he fell to the ground. I looked back to see the arrow had implanted its self in his eye,
''he's not dead but he will think twice before coming after you again, especially since he will only have half the vision and a lot more pain than he originally had when he wakes up. Now come on, lets go home'' Monica said replacing her bow on her back then opening the doors, I smiled and nodded as we both ran out of the palace we were in and I started leading the way back home,
Maybe now we can have a relaxing day and not worry about anything, home will be good to return to.
