Chapter 16: Well This Just Happened

Kota's POV:

''Kyohei are you sure this is a good idea? I mean she's just got back to work the start of this week I don't want to spring too much on her at once you know?'' I said as Kyohei and I were walking through the quietening streets on our break from the recording that we were doing, well I say we were walking it was more I was being dragged by him through the streets to a certain shop.

''Dude seriously? Tell me how long have you been wanting to ask her? You can't hold off forever you know it might hurt her if you do and I know for a fact that, that's not the outcome you want am I right?'' He asked I just sighed, a small smile forming on my face as I thought about Kiera's smiling face when I gave her this gift I just had to chose the right one for her

''yeah your right Kyo'' I said eventually he smiled and dragged me down another turn before stopping in front of the shop that we were looking for

''course I'm right, always am now come on we're going in'' he said walking into the shop with me right behind him, one of the clerks approached us with a smile on her face.

''Hi there how can I help you both today? Looking for anything in particular?'' She asked 

''yeah actually my buddy here is looking for something for his girlfriend she's really special to him and she just returned to work the start of this week after being off for 8 weeks after a bad accident. So we're looking for something to show her just how much he loves her and wants to be there to support her no matter what happens'' Kyohei said, I elbowed him hinting at the fact that he said a little more than he actually needed to after all she didn't need to know that much to help me.

''Oh my, well I do hope she's alright that sounds awful'' the girl said with genuine concern on her face, I just smiled and shook my head 

''don't worry she's doing a lot better now that she's able to work again so do you think you could help me please?'' I asked she smiled again and nodded 

''of course I would be more than happy to help you, please follow me I think I know exactly what it is your looking for. These here is our rare and very valuable items they cost a lot however nothing says I love you than these. This one here is made of something called Alexandrite, it normally has a green colour when processed but as you see here it's in such a pure state that it has a unique and wonderful aqua colour. Its an oval cut, perfect for someone dainty and the edges are pure diamond with a platinum band'' the girl said as she pulled the ring out of the glass container and handed it to me.

I looked it over and smiled, it was beautiful, the colour reminded me of her voice. Delicate and beautiful, the shine reminded me of her eyes and the whole thing just screamed perfect. I knew this was the one and nothing anywhere else would even come close. This was the ring that would promote Kiera from my girlfriend to my fiance now all that needed to happen was for her to say yes.

''Its perfect. I'll take it'' I said with a smile, the girl smiled and walked over to the till where I handed her the ring and the money then both Kyo and I walked out of the shop and started heading back to where the studio was. I had already told the announcer of the show that I had a surprise that I wanted to announce and now I had everything that I needed to do just that. I just hope Kiera will say yes.

10 minuets later

The break for the show had finished and Kiera had a song that she was going to preform then after that my little surprise was coming up. She didn't know about it and I was so busy preparing this surprise that I had no time to help her practice the song so I had no idea what it was since Taka helped her. Kiera smiled to us all standing up from her chair and taking her place in the middle of the stage making sure her portable mic was still on.
