Today was the day that I would go with Harry to see his parents. Gemma had left the day before, she had insisted on picking up Harry and I from the air port but Harry had one of his drivers come instead. I didn't bother packing much just in case Harry chose to leave tonight instead of staying in a hotel. I knew that Harry would be on edge the entire time, "I don't understand why he is sending a driver to pick you up instead of coming to get you himself." Noah had ranted as I waited outside for Harry's driver.
"He had to go to work this morning, at least he's not making me drive." I had told Noah. Noah rolled his eyes, "Whatever, I still think he should come get you." This time I didn't bother bringing a book since I figured Harry and I could talk. Just as I'm about to text the driver to see where he is at I see him pull up.
"I'll see you later," I give Noah a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Yeah, text me when you land." He sounded like my mom, "Okay." I watched Noah walk inside as the driver set my bag in the backseat for me.
"Thank you," I tell him with a smile. The drive to the airport was silent, I almost asked him to turn on music because of the awkwardness. When we get to the airport the driver drives through some gate. "Um, sir, where are we going?" I ask him. "Mr. Styles didn't tell you?" He questions me, tell me what?
"We're taking his privet jet," he tells me. I nod my head and I'm relieved when he parks the car. He takes my bag and I walk onto the jet. Harry is already here and he is working on some paper work. I sit across from him, "Hey!" I say with a smile.
"I can't talk right now, Mary. I need to get this done," he snaps at me. I'm taken back by the way he is acting, but I quickly dismiss it. I just get up and sit in a different seat away from Harry. I stare out the window wishing I had brought a book with me. Soon we are taking off and I'm falling asleep.

"Mary wake up," I open my eyes ever so slowly and I see Harry standing above me. "We are here, let's go." He starts walking out of the jet without me and I'm scrambling to gather my things and follow suit.
I'm slowly started to get irritated by the way Harry is acting. When I get off the plane he is already on the phone talking to someone, anger builds up inside me. I storm over to where he is standing and I snatch his phone. "I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, but you are being an asshole!" I yell at him, I hang up with whoever he was talking to. "You don't pick me up from my house, you ignore me the entire time on the jet, and you couldn't even wait for me to get off the plane. Do you want me here or not? Because of you don't I can be on the first flight out of here!" I yell at him some more. Harry's eyes soften, "I'm sorry Mary. I'm just stressed, I haven't seen my mom and today I'm seeing her." He explains, he looks truly sorry.
"It's okay, put away work for the day. Let's go meet up with your sister and get this over with," Harry nods and takes his hand into mine.
The drive over to Harry's parents house was quiet. He played with the window, it was only when we turned down his street that I knew his anxiety was high. I take his hand in mine and squeeze it softly to show him that I'm here. We were meeting Gemma to pick her up and take her to where we were all eating dinner. Harry's mom and stepdad were already at the place.
When we arrived I offered Harry to get Gemma. "Happy birthday!" I said when she answered the door. "Thanks, I can't believe my brother agreed to this." She tells me with the biggest smile.
We both walk over to the car and this time Harry and Gemma are talking about old memories. They both talk about growing up and how they would get in trouble over the littlest stuff.
"We're here," Gemma says with a smile on her face. I notice a familiar couple standing outside the restaurant where we will be eating with Harry and Gemma's mom and stepdad. It was the couple that paid for our ice cream.
Gemma gets out of the car and runs over to the couple and gives them a hug. I get out after Gemma, and Harry behind me. Harry says something to the driver before the driver drives off. When Harry takes my hand and we walk over to the couple do I realize that the couple that bought our ice cream was Harry's mother and stepdad.
"Harry!" His mom says before running up and hugging him. I've never seen this look on him. He looked as if he was going to cry. "Mom," he says back. When they finally let go Anne turns her attention towards me. "Mom this is Mary," Harry says with a smile. "I've met her, it's nice to see you again!" Anne said, I remember she had told me her name when she bought the ice cream. Harry seemed confused but I mouth that I would explain later.
Harry the shifted his eyes over to Harry's stepdad. "Robin," Harry said simply. They both shook hands and then we all found ourself a inside the place. The dinner wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be, Harry only spoke to his mom. Robin didn't seem to mind, him and Gemma carried a semi-decent conversation.
"I'm so sorry Mary, we've completely cut you out of the conversation!" Anne said then set her hand onto mine. "No you're fine, this is a lot better than my family dinner a few weeks back."
"Was that when I saw you?" She asks me. I nodded my head, "Mary's family is going through a rough time." Harry answers for me. I give him a small smile, he was saving me yet again.
"Well just know you are always welcome at the house! As long as Harry is okay with it," Harry just smiled and I thanked her.
After a while I could tell that there was still some things that needed to be cleared up between Harry and his family. "Hey Harry?" I tap him lightly. He had stopped talking for a second, "Perrie texted and asked for me to go help her dress shopping. Would you mind if I left?" I ask him. He took the hint and whispered a thank you then nodded. "Yeah that's fine! I'll call and pick you up afterwards." I them say my goodbyes to everyone and gather my things before leaving the place.
Perrie never actually texted so I needed to find something to do. I walk little ways and saw a coffee shop. I walk inside and take in the smell of fresh coffee. I order some coffee then sit as I wait for Harry's call.
"Well, if it isn't Virgin Mary." I knew immediately who it was by the way he talked. It was the guy who started this feud with my sister. "What do you want?" I snap rather harshly at him.
"Oh nothing," he hummed and sat across from me. "How's little sister?"
"You know she doesn't talk to me thanks to you..." I trail off. "Tsk tsk, why are you acting this way?"
"You almost raped me you asshole, and you crushed my sisters dreams! You didn't win anyways, she is happily married and she has kids!" I tell him.
"But she doesn't talk to you?" I had enough, he knew he was getting under my skin. "Please leave," he suddenly looked behind me and his face went pale. I look behind me and my sister stands there shocked.
"You were the one that made me hate my sister? To think all this time I blamed Mary when it was really you!" It made me smile a little. My sister had finally heard the truth.
"Well," he started stammering then got up and ran out. My sister sat where he use to sit and gave me a soft smile. "I'm sorry," she spoke first. "I didn't believe you when I should've taken your words over his." She told me softly, it left me speechless. Here was my sister, talking to me, let alone apologizing. "It's okay, I'm glad you finally know!" My sister leaned over and gave me a hug, "I must get going. The kids are waiting on me to make dinner." She then smiled, "Don't hesitate to call me when you go back home."
"I won't," I spoke then watched her leave. As if immediately after that my phone began ringing, I knew it was Harry. "Where are you at?" Harry asked me when I answer the phone. "I'm at the coffee shop down the road." I didn't receive an answer, he hung up and I saw a car pull up. I knew it was his so I gathered my things and walked out with a smile plastered on my face.
"What's up with you?" Harry asked with a slight smile. "My sister and I have made up." Harry didn't press no further he just smiled and congratulated me. "How was the last part of dinner?" I asked him.
"Well, things won't be mended immediately but it's definitely happening." I smiled at him and then drew my attention to the window. Nothing could've made this day better.
