Normally I made Noah or even Louis go grocery shopping since I never cooked, but they ended up outwitting me into shopping for food. I just hated seeing all the choices you had to eat, and shopping on an empty stomach was worst. I had no idea where anything was, Louis gave me a list but the list didn't help.

There were cookies, pizza, ice cream, and even more cookies. As I try to reach a can, I couldn't reach it even in my heels, I felt a presence behind me. The body reaches over me and seizes the can. I turn around to be faced by Harry. "Oh," I say as he hands me the can. "Thanks," I tell him. He just smiles and goes to leave.

"Listen, Harry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." I blurt out. He stops in his steps and turns around. "You didn't hurt my feelings," he explains to me. "You just left me inarticulate." I wanted to laugh. "See, I can use big words too." He said in a joking matter.

"Then why have you ignored me?" I ask him, with a smile still on my face from his joke. Harry looks at me and laughs, "We never talked in the first place." Is all he says then he leaves me.

He was right, we didn't talk in the first place. I didn't even have his number, we just sorta saw each other. I left the basket in the aisle and ran out of the building to look for Harry.

I saw him just in time getting into his car. I run over to his passenger side and tap on the window. "Yes?" He asks after rolling the window down. "I want your number," I state, he gives off his famous half smirk half grin and sticks his hand out. I hand him my phone and he types away. Seconds later he hands the phone back to me and I watch him leave.

As I stand there I look down at my phone to see his number there, I never knew I would be getting his number. I want to text instantly but I don't, instead, I wait.

"You got his number?" Noah freaks out once I told him everything that happened at the store. Louis was nowhere to be seen, I'm pretty sure he was still at work. I had to tell someone, though, "Yeah!" I say eagerly.

"Mary that was a terrible idea, Madison will destroy you! Are you forgetting he is married?"

"Yes I know he's married, why can't we be friends?" I ask him. "Maybe because you fancy him." I roll my eyes, "I don't fancy him."

"Sure, my parents want to meet Louis and I want you to come so maybe they will be a little nice," Noah tells me.

"Your parents are nice, but I guess I'll come. When is it?" I ask him.

"This Friday, they have some nice house party going on. You have to dress modest," I want to laugh at him.

"Have you seen my closet?" He laughs.

"True, I'll bring you back something from my parents."

Those next couple days were blurry, I never texted Harry. I was too scared to text him. Noah had given me a dress to wear to his parent's events and Louis spent the week trying to find something to impress Noah's parents. "What are they like?" He kept questioning throughout the week.

I genuinely felt a little sorry for him, I kept telling him that they were friendly people. They were, except if you hurt Noah. I remember once a boy had called Noah a faggot and they almost sued the kid. I sorta felt bad for the kid because we were ten, but the kid had no right to call him a faggot. Noah later got made fun of for his rich parents almost suing the kid but never told his parents. My parents weren't ever fond of his parents. They hated the fact they were rich and I was over there every day.
