We talked for a little bit before I was attacked. I was talking to Gracie when someone grabbed my hat. As I was turning around, I realized it was Avery who was wearing it and pretending to be me.

"Hi I'm Blair and I like horses and corn and hamburgers and doing what ever my brothers want." Then to make it even worse he giggled like a girl. I don't understand anything the boys do.

Because I am the only girl in the family I was home schooled. Its not that I didn't want to know its I never had a chance to know how things worked.

I laughed and turned to Gracie who was looking at me with wonder and amusement. "Gracie this is my brother Avery. The rest are at the trailer." I looked at my new friend and my brother and turned around, leaving them to talk.

When I was at the bottom of the stands, I looked up to see Gracie blush at something Avery said, and I smiled to myself.

"Hey Blair good job earlier with the barrels." Axel spoke when I made it over to the trailer. I thanked him and walked over to Midnight. I untied her and she walked over to me.

"Tell Dad I went to take Midnight out. I should only be gone an hour or two." I told Axel as I hopped on Midnight's bare back.

We walked for a little bit before we found what we were looking for. When I was younger I felt like I had no one. Dad was always at work and the boys were always hanging out with friends or going to school. The boys babysat me but always ended up inviting their friends over and ditching me.

The fair was always my favorite time of year. Everyone was to occupied with the rodeo, friends and girls to notice me. I would wander around alone before coming to my spot. It wasn't much but at night I would come here and just relax. You could see the stars perfectly from here without the noise of anything. It was a clearing in the woods connected to the fair but still in the gates.

When I entered area around the clearing, I saw Blake laying on his back beside his horse. He had his eyes closed but he wasn't sleeping. His arm was holding up his phone in front of him and he had constellations pulled up on Google.

Dad told me how Mom used to love watching the stairs and she would sit outside all night when she was pregnant with me and tell me all about the constellations. She would point up at them and tell me the names and what they meant in different cultures. Mom had books upon books about the stars and we still keep them around the house in her memory.

"Hey." I said walking towards him. He looked up and gestured for me to sit down beside him. He sat up and shut off his phone.

"How did you know about this spot?" He asked me as he tilted his head to the side to see me. I gave him a soft smile.

"I found it when I was younger. I would come here just to watch the clouds and the stars without the sound of my brothers. How did you get here?" He looked up at the stairs and smiled.

"I figured there would have to be some clearing somewhere so I just started walking until I got here... There she is." He replied looking at the sky.
