"Honey, your father and I have been talking and we've decided to get a divorce." My mom whispered.
"A divorce?! But why?!" I shouted.
"He and I have been arguing and fighting after you go to bed each night. We didn't want to tell you but-"
"What are you going to do with me?!" I interrupted.
"You'll switch between houses every week."
"I don't want to!" I yelled, "Either you guys make up or-or I'm leaving!"
I knew my mother would get concerned and think of another solution to the problem.
"Listen sweetie, I know you're upset. But your father and I have decided. And that's final."
I was furious!
"Fine! Then I'm leaving!" I screamed.
I trudged over to my room and started grabbing my things. I could hear my mom following me.
"Y/N! Quit fooling around! I'm not changing my mind!" She shouted.
"And I'm not changing my mind!" I screamed back and put all of my stuff into a bag.
"You're not leaving!" She shouted.
"I don't want to live in a broken up family! I am leaving!" I yelled back.~~~~Time Skip~~~~
It's only been a few hours after I left the house. I'm tired. I'm hungry. My nose is snotty. I gotta rest my body. Gotta use the potty. Better stop moving.
I think I got so tired that I fell asleep, because when I woke up, I wasn't on the street anymore. I was in someone's house. It wasn't my own. It looked very strange.
It had a log float, a roller coaster, and a bunk bed for three!
"Guys! She's awake!" Someone whispered.
Three odd animals crowded around me.
"Good morning! How did you sleep?" The tall one said.
