(Back at the tower)
Yakko's POV

I jumped as I heard a loud bang from the other room. Setting down the silver sharpie, I wandered over to Y/N's room.
Bang
There it was again. I quickened my pace until I reached her door and turned the knob.
Bang
Y/N slammed her head on her desk. She pulled her head back and rubbed her forehead.
She started to slam her head down again but I ran up and put my hand under her head.
She didn't move her head, she just hung there in my hand.
"Y/N? Are ya feeling alright?" I asked.
I took my hand away from her forehead and she dropped her head to the table.
"Not really," She finally said, "I'm just really worried about (Boy Name). The stress has gotten to me."
A couple of things flew through my mind.
"So, do you, like, still have feeling for him?" I murmured.
She shot up, face flustered, "Of course not! You know what he did to me. Besides..."
She trailed of, muttering things under her breath. I couldn't tell if it was intentional or not.
"Besides...?" I asked.
She shook her head, not finishing the sentence. She scooted out from under the desk and walked towards the kitchen. Stopping, she turned back, "Well, aren't you gonna come?"
I nodded and followed her, joining up with Dot and Wakko.

~~~~2nd POV~~~~
"Hey guys!" Dot waved.
You waved at her.
The kitchen was maybe the only thing in the Warners' house that was normal. Everything else was crowded by the log float, the rollercoaster, or some other thing that every kid wished they had. Dot and Wakko were sitting at the counter on barstools that resembled the 1950s. It didn't much fit the rest of the kitchen's theme, but who cared, right?
You and Yakko sat next to them and you slumped down onto the counter, melting like liquid into the cold surface.
"Stress getting to you?" Dot asked.
You nodded.
She shrugged and grabbed Yakko under her arm, "This little thing can help you with that!" She gave him a small noogie.
Yakko's face went pink and he pushed her off of him, "I'm way older than you! Don't call me little!"
You giggled and pat him on the head, causing him to sink into his seat a little more.
"I still have to work today. I don't want to go anywhere alone." You put your head in your hands, "Just the thought that he could be watching me at any second freaks me out, you know?"
Dot nodded.
"And that's why, um," she grabbed Wakko's shoulders and spun him around on the stool towards you, "we've decided that Wakko's gonna go with you!"
"What? Since when?!" Wakko asked.
Dot covered his mouth and chuckled, "Since now." She whispered in his ear. He nodded.
"So, let's go get ready, shall we?" She let out a couple more nervous chuckles as she pulled him off of the stool and into their bedroom. She slammed the door closed, leaving you and Yakko alone again.
Yakko sighed, "Ever since you arrived at the tower, she's been acting odd. Maybe it's because she's no longer the only girl in the tower."
You shrugged and nodded, pretending that was the reason. You knew that she knew that you liked Yakko. You never told her, but she knew. She had to. You closed your eyes and let out a loud and obvious sigh, sitting for a couple of seconds.
You only opened your eyes when you felt a warm draft from in from of you. Nearly falling off of the stool, you saw Yakko inches away from your face.
Both of your faces grew warmer and you jumped off of the stool.
"I'm gonna go check on the two of them. I really should be headed to work." You nervously chuckled.
Yakko vigorously nodded.
You ran off to the Warners' room and left Yakko sitting by himself.
"I'm not sure what just happened..." he muttered, touching his face, feeling the warmth emanating from his skin, "b-but it was something."
