Yakko's POV:
(A/N: It's a few days after the whole incident, you are still living with the Warners in their tower.)
I still can't help myself from wondering what that kiss meant. Was it a 'thank you'? An 'I love you'? A 'You're my hero'? I can't get it out of my head.
I heard a knock on my door, "Yakko?"
It was Y/N! I tried to rub her name in sharpie off of my arm.
"C-come in." I stuttered.
She slowly opened the door. When she stepped in, the first thing I noticed was her hands behind her back.
"Hey. Um. I just wanted to thank you for saving me the other day." She mumbled.
"Hey, no prob! I'm sure you'd do the same for me." I blushed.
"Well, I got this for you. T-to thank you." She held out her hands which held a small yellow box with red ribbon.
"Y-Y/N, you didn't have to-"
"I feel like I kinda needed to." She replied.
I reached out to grab the box, "You sure?"
"Definitely."
I opened it up and inside was the best thing anyone has ever given me. It was two plushies, one was a cute mallet with a blushing face and the other was a anvil with a really happy face.
"Oh wow! I don't know what to say!" I replied.
"How about 'thank you' and 'I'll cherish them forever'?" She giggled.
"Oh I'll do more than just cherish them." I stated.
I stood up and wrapped my arms around her waist.
I whispered into her ear, "Thank you so much for staying with us."
She hugged me tight, "Of course."
