"I'm sorry miss, but we don't have that here." I stated.
She grumbled and stormed out of the room.
"It's okay, Y/N." Patty reassured me, "You get some, you loose some."
"Thanks."
She pointed to the other side of the store, "Look at those kids! They seem to be lost!" She laughed.
There, standing right near the entrance was Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.
"Not funny, Patty! Those are my friends!" I retorted and trudged over to the siblings.
"What are you doing here?!" I asked.
"Well, I told the boys that you might not be back for a while and Yakko panicked." Dot replied.
"Did not!" Yakko stated.
"Oh admit it! You've got feelings for-" Yakko covered Dot's mouth.
"Duh I have feelings for certain foods, but at least I'm not as bad as Wakko!" He replied.
Wakko and Dot both gave him the 'You're an idiot' look.
"Guys, guys! I don't want you bothering me at work! I know how you guys are and you could get me fired! I'm trying to make money so we can get food and possibly a better place to stay than that old water tower. I'm not trying to be mean, I just really would like for you to leave me alone while I'm working. Please?"
"Okay. Okay. We get it we're not wanted here." Yakko said gloomily.
I hugged him, "Not at all. I love you guys, and that's why I got this job."
Yakko's body got warmer, he hugged me back, "Thanks, Y/N. W-we love you too."
I smiled and pulled away.
"Some more than others." Dot rolled her eyes.
