The truth

Ciel looked at his butler as he entered his room. Today was a rainy day, so nothing much was happening. The young lord had to help in the kitchen for dinner, but until then he was free. It was the perfect opportunity to look through the journal Sebastian found. He flipped some pages, nothing much, just random events and some lyrics. He then found a letter inside for Miss Evelyn Randall.

-Evelyn Randall? so she uses just Eve when introducing herself, but why Randall? This name sounds so familiar.

-Maybe she changed it? Or it's her mother name? Sebastian said with confused voice. Shall we read the letter and see, maybe there are some information about her?

Ciel began to read: "For my beautiful Evelyn. I hope this letter finds you in great health. I know that the last time we saw each other you said that we were done, but I need to see you again. I keep coming to your house, but your brother Arthur keeps saying you're not there. I want to see your eyes, please, one last time. We have to talk about Rachel too. With respect-" I can't believe this, Ciel said as his body began to shake, his eyes were the size of oninons-with respect, Vincent Phantomhive.

-How are you Michaelis? I hope your heart is in one piece after what Eve done to you. His laugh was loud and full of joy. I smiled, he was the best human I've met. He knew what he liked, he was a man of honour and he protected his captain like no one else.

-I'm fine, just a scratch. I wanted to ask you something about the captain. His gaze met Joseph's eyes, he was serious now. I feel that Eve's mood is not so good. I tried to ask her what is happening, but she said that everything is fine. I don't buy that. I showed a sad, concerned face.

-You have a big mouth for an old mad, Joseph. I looked over my shoulder to see Eve standing behind us, her brow twitching and a huge grin on her face. I can't believe this! I didn't sense her presence at all. Joseph was scared to death as he saw her, standing on his knees to forgive him. She began to laugh as the old man stood up.

-It's ok friend, I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at him for not asking me about this. Let us alone Joseph. He bowed and left as she sat down on a barrel. Look Michaelis, I don't know why you want to know my past, but I'll tell you, but just because I pranked you last night. She winked at me and I smiled.
