~Becoming His Girlfriend~

-KANKURO-

Ever since your date with Kankuro, it seemed your relationship grew more than being close friend. Eventually, either you or him would have to confess. So what was he waiting for? It frustrated you at times, but you didn't want to force or push Kankuro to do it. If he didn't want to, you completely understood....

How wrong you were.

The black loving guy was saving up money to buy you fresh flowers, as well as other small gifts. Kankuro wanted to spoil you before he could ask  you. He knew that he was acting like it was a big deal, but it really was to him. He cared about you, probably more than he realized. When he finally had all the small gifts in a medium sized gift bag, he took a deep breath, then called your phone.

"Meet me at the small lake nearby the University." he told you before hanging up. You raised an eyebrow. You didn't even have the chance to talk on the phone! Groaning, you got up, walking over to your dresser to go and get dressed. And then once that was done, you got your car keys and drove to the university.

"Y/n!" Kankuro shouted at you with a wide smile, looking more....odd than usual. You walked up to him with your chaste smile, closing your eyes while doing so. "Good morning Kankuro. Why did you want me here...and so early?" you asked, opening your eyes as you puckered your lips in a pout. He laughed nervously, looking down at the ground. "Well, you see....I wanted to ask you something..." Kankuro mumbled while he looked down.

"And that is?" you asked, raising an eyebrow as you leaned forwards. When he looked up, he noticed your faces were close, causing him to blush. "B-But first, I brought you some gifts." he said, noticing his small stutter. Your eyes became slightly bigger to see a banquet of flowers, along with a small gift bag. You took the gifts, but didn't open it yet. You still haven't heard his question.

"Well, what's your question?" you asked, Kankuro gulping as he looked up, his expression more serious. "Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked straight out, your eyes widening more as your cheeks began to flare up. You didn't say anything before dropping the gifts and kissing him, pulling him closer to you tightly. For one thing for sure, Kankuro already knew your answer.

-HAKU-

"Do you think I could do it?" Haku asked Zabuza nervously as they were walking towards your house. It was snowing, the cold frostiness nipping his face. His close friend nodded, frowning. "You're not as a wimp as you think you are." he told him, who nodded before looking over at the front door. Zabuza ruffled his scalp before hiding behind her car. Meanwhile, Haku went to the door.

 Knocking on your door, he could feel his lips getting chapped. Lucky for him, he had some chapstick, which was lucky for him. Applying it on, he rubbed his bare hands until you opened the door. "Haku! How long have you been waiting out here? Please, come inside!" you said in a sweet voice, grabbing his hand and pulling him in. The door closed, leaving Zabuza the wingman to be stranded in the cold. Poor guy.

After making both of you some homemade hot cocoa, you sat him down at your small dining table, holding your mug. "What was it that made you come here? It's quite dark outside." you asked him, Haku looked down at his mug with a blush. "I-I..." he stuttered, looking back up at you and taking a deep breath. "I came here to tell you that I like you." Haku said, your body froze(ba dump TSCH) from shock. He bit his lip, looking down in embarrassment.

But suddenly, he felt his mug being moved out of his hands. And instead, another warm set of hands held his own. "I like you too, Haku." you told him with a smile, giggling as he looked up at you. Your lips placed them on his, only for a quick second. You then released it, bringing him in to a hug. "Really?" Haku question, feeling your fingers play with his long hair.
