It was Friday and Liam and I are currently at the library doing our project. Well I'm doing the project, Liam's messing around and he's starting to piss me off. We've been here for an hour and due to his distracting I've barely gotten anything done. I don't even know why I thought he'd be helpful.

"This is boring. Why can't you be fun kitten?" I just scoffed at that. This isn't supposed to be fun.

"Well excuse me for trying to get this project done as soon as I can so I don't have to be around you anymore." I was blunt. I didn't care, he was annoying me. He looked at me with a fake sad face. I just rolled my eyes and tried to get back to work.

"Well I think we need to change that. I'm taking you to a party with me tonight." He's kidding right? There's no way he could be serious. There's no way he'd take me to a party and ruin his reputation by doing so.

"Yeah, no thanks." There's no way he can get me to a party. Why would he even want to?

"And why not?" He's persistent. And annoying.

"Well first off, I don't do the whole party scene and plus I have to go home and make dinner for my brothers." At this moment my phone buzzed. My phone was for some reason closer to him than me and it was face up. Liam picked it up and read it over.

"Tommy says 'staying at Jake's tonight.' Well it looks like you are free tonight. I'll pick up at 9, be ready." That's all he says before he walks right out the library. I'm stunned. He might actually do it. He might actually get me to a party.

It was currently 8 o'clock and I was just now getting ready. Now if I was like every other girl on this planet this would be an issue. But it doesn't take long for me to get ready anyway. I put on some ripped black jeans and a plain white shirt that's almost a crop top but not quite. Considering my mascara still looked good from earlier I didn't need to do anything with it. I threw my hair up into a cute but messy bun. I put on my white converse and waited.

It was 8:45 when I got a text from Liam. We had exchanged numbers earlier in the week so we could meet up to do our project. He said he was on his way and I texted him my address. At exactly 9 o'clock I got a text from Liam saying he was here and I was impressed that he was actually on time. I can't believe I'm actually going to a party, with Liam of all people.

I head downstairs and head out after locking the door. I stopped as soon as I saw Liam, well more specifically, his motorcycle. There was no way I was getting on that thing. I'm already going to a party, I'm not going to ride that death trap.

"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost kitten." Well not exactly. But I will if I get on that thing that ghost will be me.

"I'm not getting on that thing. I refuse to get on it. I'll die." I may have been exaggerating just a little but I didn't care. There was just no way.

"You're not going to die if you hold on tight enough, now get on we're going to be late." He held out a helmet for me to take and I, surprisingly, took it. And then I realized that he didn't have a helmet.

"Where's your helmet?" He chuckled and then pointed to the one in my hand. Oh! This ones his. "You can't not wear a helmet. You just go on without me I'll just stay home." I held it out for him but he wouldn't take it.

"I'll be fine without it. It's only a couple of blocks. Now put it on and get on before I make you." I had no doubt in my mind that he would force me on and that's not something I wanted so I put the helmet on and got on. I didn't know where to put my hands until Liam took my hands and put them around his waist. Thankfully he was facing away from me because I could feel the heat in my cheeks.
