Chapter 10: Just Like Her

Liam and Nick were being dragged into the room by very built guys. They were both thrashing around but it was no use. They were put into another cell across from mine that I hadn't noticed yet. Liam was pissed off. He was banging on the bars and shouting at every single person in the room.

"Quiet down or the girl gets it." That made Liam shut up. I was scared and had no idea what was going to happen. "Grab the girl." Two guys made their way into my cell and walked over to me. I was still sitting on the floor with my back against the wall. I was trapped. There was no way I could get past these two guys.

They grabbed me and picked me up. I struggled to get out of their grip. The sat me down in a chair that was placed right in front of Liam and Nick. I was then tied to that chair so I couldn't move. I looked into Liam's eyes and for the first time since meeting him he looked scared.

"Liam, do you want to tell Same here what really happened to the last girl. Or shall I?" I thought he already told me what happened.

I looked at Liam again and his head was down. He looked ashamed. "Not going to speak? Well then I'll tell her. You see we took her from her own home in the middle of the night and brought her here. She stayed in the same cell as you did. It took Liam much longer to realize that she was missing than it took for you. When he arrived we placed him exactly where he is right now. We tortured the girl in front of him and we killed her. Right in front of his very own eyes. That was our warning to him to not leave. We thought he learned his lesson but I guess not. And now we're going to do the exact same thing to you, only this time we're not going to be killing you, he is."

What this man said at the end made Liam's head shoot up. I think he shouted some words but I didn't hear what he said because I was too focused on what I was just told. Liam lied to me and I was about to die. This isn't exactly how I thought my life would end.

"There's no way in hell I'll ever kill her. You're a sick and twisted bastard if you think that. I'd rather die myself than kill her." The boss guy walked over to me and stood right behind me. I couldn't see what he was doing because I couldn't turn around. Nick looked scared and Liam looked sad and worried.

"Liam what was it that you said to Angie right before I shot her?"

Liam was silent and didn't say a word. His eyes didn't leave me once. Since Liam didn't answer the boss took measures into his own hands. He took a knife and put it against my throat. At this point I was about to shit my pants.

"Answer the question Liam."

"I love you and I'll never stop loving you." Those words hurt my heart. I know that it's in the past but they still hurt. I felt a tear fall from my face. I didn't realize I had started crying.

The boss walked around to my side so I could see him again. He still held the knife in his hand. He crouched down so he was eye level with me. He forced me to look at him.

"Looks as though that hurt you huh? Well I don't think that'll hurt as much as this." I didn't understand what he meant until he stabbed the knife in my leg. I screamed out in pain and felt more tears flow down my face. Liam was banging against the bars trying to get out.

"Stop it. Please don't hurt her. I'll do anything just please stop." Liam begged. The knife was forcibly removed from my leg and I screamed again.

"I'm not going to stop until she's dead. You didn't learn your lesson the first time so maybe you'll learn it now." He walked around me a few times before speaking again. "You know Sam, your brothers' death wasn't an accident. That was all us. We tried to kill all of them but we obviously failed to do so. But that's okay, we left you with the one person you didn't want to survive the crash." Hearing this information made my heart sink. It was their fault that my brothers died?
