moving from a small town in New Jersey to a big city in California is quite the journey. what will happen to Gabby and her best friend Julia when an app gives her everything she never knew she wanted?
Gabby's POV so instead of going back to the lake, we decided on going to Huntington Beach. i use to pretty much live at Seaside Heights when i lived back in New Jersey, but now that i've moved to LA the grind for my passion of videos, i haven't been going as much. i mean, i've only been here for like 2 and a half weeks, but that's still long for me. i was always at the beach.
i put on a bikini and slip on an oversized sweater with a pair of black nike pros and my superstar sneakers.

as i'm finishing up, i hear a car horn outside of my house. i run to the front door, exit and lock the door before heading to Lucas' car.
"hey there gorgeous" Lucas says as i enter his car.
"what's cookin good lookin?" i reply
"not much. we're gonna meet Alex, banks and Frazier at the beach."
"sounds good"
the car ride consisted of us jamming out to any song that came on. then i heard the song that i figured would be played sooner or later. Magnolia. i looked over to see Lucas' face still on the road but a smirk plastered across his face. i laughed and he looked over and started saying the lyrics. i couldn't help but laugh.
i haven't snapped since i've gotten to Cali, so i should probably start doing that. i pull out my phone and take a picture of Lucas' hand on top of mine of the knob to shift his car and post it.

~At the beach~ when we get to the beach, we meet up with alex, banks and frazier near an area with a bunch of small shops.
"there's my favorite couple" alex says. i look at him confused while banks and frazier laugh.
"friends. that's all" Lucas says. i feel saddened, but i've only known them for a few days now. i can't be too attached to them
we all walk towards the beach, but me, being my lazy self, jumped onto Frazier's back for the rest of the walk. Banks, Alex and Lucas stopped occasionally to take pictures with fans, while frazier and i just kept on towards the beach.
once we reached the sand, frazier dropped me from his grip and i instantly felt happiness run through my body.
i posted a snapchat of me and frazier on the beach and then a video of use walking. when we got to a less crowded area, i laid my tie-dye beach towel on the warm sand and played some Khalid. the first song that played was Saved.
after about an hour of just laying out on the beach by myself, i feel a body next to me, but pay no mind to it. it's a beach, there's people walking around you constantly. then, i feel my body being lifted bridal style.
"i swear on my mother's life if i am being taken towards that water you will not want to be living another day" i threaten
"alright. chill i was just tryna see if you wanted to take some surfboard lessons with me" Lucas replies
"oh, sorry. sure i'll try it" i respond and through my sunglasses and clothes onto my towel.
we tried to surf for a while, but eventually gave up. it's impossible. or maybe i just have horrible balance
i ended up riding back to the FaZe house in the Hollywood Hills because Julia was going over a YouTuber's house to do a collab. since it'll be late, she'll probably end up staying there and i hate being home alone. i get into a car with banks, frazier and alex because Lucas was going back to the LA house to work on his music.
since it was an hour ride, i decided to lay my head on Alex's lap and take a nap. Banks was driving and Frazier was sitting passenger. Alex gave me his headphones and we each put a bud in one of our ears while we listened to music that slowly drifted us into a light sleep.
