My clothes are dripping from rainwater, making me uncomfortable but I need to get my documents verified. I head towards the principal's office.

Taking admission in the midterm isn't a wise decision but that is the only option I am left with. I needed to leave my hometown and for once take a break from the sweet memories which were poisoning my life.

I move swiftly across the hallway but soon, my journey comes to halt when a girl collides with me.

Crap!

Even before my brain can process any reflex, she hits the floor on her ass with a thud. Her belongings come out flying from her bag and spread all over the floor. Looking up at me irritatingly, she gives me the most confusing glare.

Her hair is scattered all across her face and her full lips are parted making a perfect O. I try to hold back my grin when her eyes almost give away her thoughts. She looks adorable in this messiness too.

I know I should reach out and help her. But I am done with emotions. After Shelby left, I buried these emotions alive in me. No emotions mean no expectations. I live for myself and opinions don't bother me anymore. Being cold-hearted is easier than being a deeply feeling person these days. So, I stand idly and return this girl the stare.

Once she's done gathering her articles, she stands up and without a sideways glance starts making her way towards the exit. Meanwhile, my eyes catch sight of a notebook lying on the floor. It must be hers. I pick it up which turns out to a fancy pink colored glittered diary.

Girlish!

I look up to the girl, who happens to turn around looking at me at the same time. Until she collides into another guy.

Whoa!

This girl is seriously too much into collision. I can't help myself this time and a smile crosses my face. An effortless smile.
