*Harry's Point of View**

The sirens from the ambulance and police cars filled the streets. I heard them pull up while I ran in the house. Louis was draped over Alyssa's pale, lifeless body, patting her cheek and whispering in her ear. I ran over to them. Niall was crying beside Alyssa's head.

I put my hand on Lou's back. "What happened?" My voice cracked.

Louis looked up at me with red, swollen eyes. "She tried to kill herself." he said and went back to stroking her hair.

"Wake up, baby... come on back now. Everything's going to be all right." He was smiling and crying, confused.

The paramedics had her on a stretcher in the next second. "Out of the way, guys! Come on, move it!" They screamed. A man looked at Lou and I as they hurried Alyssa to the ambulance. "Only one can ride."

I flipped my hair and looked at Louis. "Go on, mate."

Lou gave me a scared look. "You love her..."

I nodded and pushed him. "But she loves you." A tear left my eye. "Go!" Louis and the paramedic ran to the ambulance and hopped in the back.

**ten minutes later**

"She's going to be all right, Niall. She's... she had to be all right. She's Alyssa." Zayn said, comforting Niall.

Niall looked up. "I didn't even tell you what she did before she blanked out, guys."

I leaned forward on my elbows. "What did she do?"

Niall laughed and rubbed his face. "She kissed me." My face went numb, my lips chapping. "It would have been funny if she weren't dying at the time." Niall rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"She kissed you?" Liam said aloud.

Niall nodded. "Yeah. She was like, 'What's that Irish saying?' and I said, 'Kiss me, I'm Irish?' and she was all like, 'Well, if you say so!' and she kissed me."

I knew my jaw was hanging open, but I didn't think to shut it. Niall looked at me. "Oh, come on, Hazza. She didn't mean anything by it."

I nodded. "No, no. It's whatever." I brushed it off my shoulder and looked at the receptionist at the front desk. "Excuse me, miss." She looked up and smiled at me. "Do you know anything on Alyssa Davey?"

She nodded her head, letting her curly blond hair bounce around her shoulders. "There isn't an Alyssa Davey listed in here, I'm sorry."

My eyebrows knit together. No Alyssa Davey? Oh... "Maybe it's in there as Alyssa Tomlinson."

The nurse checked her computer again and smiled. "Yes, Mrs. Tomlinson is in surgery right now."

I nodded. "Is there anything on how she's doing?"

"I'm sorry. I can't tell you anything unless you're imediate family." She smiled apologetically and turned back to her work.

"Thank you." I mumbled and lay my head down in my knees.

**Louis' Point of View**

I watched doctors poke and prod at Alyssa from an observing room. They said something happened to her lungs and traveled into her heart.

A doctor came in the room with a white writing tablet in his hand. He flipped through pages and looked up at me. His hair was dark black, dyed.

"You're Mr. Tomlinson?" His voice was tiny, it almost made me laugh.

 I nodded, holding my stomach.

He held the clipboard in front of him, looking confused. "Well, son... I don't really know how to tell you this." I felt my heart ripping to shreds, the shards piercing every vital organ in my body. Tears fell fro my eyes. "I'm very sorry, but she has a very slim chance of coming out of this."

I sucked in a breath and fell to the ground. "How much of a chance?" I managed to ask.

"It's in the five percentile. I'm very sorry. We'll leave her on life support for a week, starting today." I kept my head down while he spoke to me. Eventually he walked out of the room.
