*Harry's Point of View**

The doctor walked through a swinging door from behind a counter. He walked straight for the boys and I.

Niall, Liam, Zayn, and I stood to greet him. "What's happening?" Niall blurted, moving towards the doctor.

He smiled politely and positioned himself in his spot. "I'll tell you what I told Mr. Tomlinson. We'll leave her on life support for a week starting today, but, after that time is up, you have realize that there is no chance of her coming back. I'm very sorry." He stared at us with a blank expression on his face. "You may go sit with him in Mrs. Tomlinson's assigned room. He has to wait for her there while they finish the rest of her surgery."

I couldn't move. No hope for her to come back? Like, none at all? Niall turned to Zayn and hugged him close, letting his tears fall from his eyes. Liam put a hand on my shoulder and sucked in a breath. "We've got to be strong for Lou." Even as he said it a tear left his watering eyes, streaming down his cheek.

"Did... did anyone call Lyss' mum?" Zayn muttered.

Niall made a sound and lifted his head from Zayn's shoulder. "She's bed-ridden. They've diagnosed her with cancer just today."

My heart broke for Lyss. "You mean to tell me she lost her father, her baby, and is slowly losing her and her mum's life?" I fell grabbed the nearest chair next to me and flung it across the room.

"Calm down, Harry." Liam ordered, pulling my back against his chest and holding me there.

"No! No, it's not fair!" I screamed, kicking to get free of Liam's hold. "She can't lose everything like this. It can't happen!"

More things were tossed across the roo by my flailing legs, Liam tried to control me, Zayn comforted his best mate, and we finally made our way to Louis' side.

*twenty minutes of screaming and crying later*

"Louis." I said softly, pushing open the door to a very dark room with an empty bed and a lump of Lou in the corner of the room.

He looked up, the stream of light glittering against his wet cheeks. "Harry." He said back. I ran to him in an embrace, hugging his body close to mine until he could breath normally again. I sat beside him on the floor, the boys sitting around us.

"What are we going to do, Lou?" Zayn mumbled into Niall's shoulder.

Louis shrugged and sniffled. "Not sure." His head lulled, bobbing on his shoulders. "Wait?"

Niall sighed. "We can't just sit around here and wait for her to die or live."

"It's the only thing we can do, Niall." Liam joined in.

I sighed. "Our life used to be so much easier than this." The boys looked at me in surprise. I shrugged. "Call me crazy, but screaming girls who trample us for autographs and kisses and stuff was a lot more simple. Am I wrong?"

 "You're right." Zayn agreed.

Lou gave him a dreadful glare. "Are you saying Lyss made are lives harder?" He asked me.

I shook my head. "No, what I'm saying is..." I took in a deep breath before continuing. "She made our lives better. More exciting. I love our fans, and I always will, but having her around gave us something more to do than just goof off and rehearse. She brought back a spark in my life, and I'm greatful for that."

Louis wiped at his eyes. "She's something special. I love her."

"We all love her." Niall whispered, laughing a bit.

Liam laughed along with them. "Remember when Zayn saw her half naked?" He laughed some more.

Louis rolled his eyes. "Zayn, you should have called dibs or something before I got her!"

 Zayn blushed. "No way."

"It was checking her out." Niall pointed out.

"How would you know!?" Zayn blurted.

"Shuddup!" Louis screamed, knocking Liam in the head with his hand. "Oh, God."

We talked about how our lives had been impacted by Lyss and her silliness until we fell asleep on the floor of Lyss' hospital room.
