[Arthit]

He stood looking up at the magnificent building.

As beautiful as if was, did nobody stop to question if this might be a bit of an overkill? Arthit only had one word for this kind of situation: excessive. It was too excessive.

P'Bright had previously given him a rundown of the company, but now that he was here, he wasn't sure if it was really necessary. By only looking at the exterior of the building, he could already see 'success.' This must have been what they meant when they said, 'first impressions are everything.'

While clutching the packet of documents to his chest, he walked through the lofty doors and into the main lobby. It was when a man who appeared to be one of the security guards, came over to provide him with guidance; he realized that he had been gawking. He quickly closed his mouth and nodded his head.

Strike everything he had previously thought. He wanted to marry the person who designed this building.

When he was in the elevator, Arthit concentrated on the matter at hand. How the people in this company focused at all was beyond him. It was majestic here.

The doors opened on the 36th floor with a soft 'ping'. He was immediately greeted by a very fidgety Bright. "Thanks," Bright hastily stated, grabbing the file; promptly striding down the hall and into a closed door.

What now? Arthit lingered in front of the closed elevator doors scratching his head. Since nobody had provided him with any clear instructions, he couldn't decide if he was supposed to wait or head back. In that exact moment, his cellphone vibrated inside his pants pocket. Opening his messages, he internally sighed in relief. Thank the heavens for P'Prem.

Hey, Arthit. You can wait for us in the sitting area outside the conference room. We'll be out shortly. We can all head back together.

Prem.

He leisurely followed the corridor, over to the door P'Bright had gone through. As it was the case with the entire building, the sitting area was similarly designed; modest yet refined. There was even an array of yellow orchids displayed all across one side. He took out his cell phone to snap a few pictures.

Arthit chose a seat at the innermost corner of the room beside the glass, and a variation of speckled yellow orchids. Inspired by their presentation, he took a sketchpad out from his backpack and began to jot down a few ideas. If the color was a bit livelier, the energy delivered could be very intriguing. And speaking of which.

It reminded him of something very important.

Taking his phone out again, he quickly sent a text to Namtan. She had left last night for an offsite business meeting but was supposed to be back today. Regardless of whether she could meet him or not, he wouldn't have heard the end of it if he didn't let her know of his visit.

After pressing 'send,' Arthit shifted, leaning partially sideways towards the glass wall. In the past, every time Grandma Su bragged to the neighbors that Namtan was employed at Industry Enterprise and Co., he could gauge from their reactions that it was a reputable company. It never dawned onto him how prestigious it truly was until today. She had really worked hard, and they had all cried when she was hired. He smiled at the memory, feeling extremely proud of her.
