[Kongpob]

Kongpob was traipsing back and forth in front of the door. This was not where he wanted to be. He needed to be next to Arthit.

There were so many questions running through his mind. What was his condition? Was he going to be okay?

He had only taken his eyes off of him for a moment when he saw Arthit falling over.

When they arrived at the basepoint earlier that evening, he was in an unpleasant mood. What were the chances of them running into the rumored P'Jay? As he had expected, the person named Jay was stereotypically gentlemen like. The miserable part of this was that he was also decent looking.

When one visualizes their partner's ex-lover's, they always draw them up to be outstandingly attractive. To actually encounter them, and for them to match up to and surpass it; that was an entirely different story.

Jay was not as tall as Kongpob, but he was fit and proportionally well put together. His face was not as handsome as his was, but he had a nice smile. The worst part, was the fact that Arthit adored him; it was obvious from his body language.

As much as he didn't want to admit, that wasn't the only thing apparent from their interaction. He knew what the look on Jay's face meant. Filled to the brim with warmth and tenderness; Jay was in love with Arthit.

The only laughable factor behind this situation, was that Arthit had no clue. Armed as both a curse and blessing, he could only sigh at his realization. The act of pursuing him was not going to be an easy feat.

Kongpob had tried to hide his feelings of displeasure.

Though from the looks of Arthit's facial expression, it did not seem to be working out too well. After making sure that he would not be left alone at the campsite, he went off to cool his head.

Arthit had always been the only one capable of making him feel hesitant and uncertain. He doubted and pondered. Was he good enough for Arthit? What was the possibility that he could bring him more happiness than Jay? Alternatively, how high was the likelihood of Arthit being happier with someone else?

Nothing was certain. If he actively pursued him and there were unforeseen ramifications, how would it affect them?

After squandering the time away in solitude, he at last arrived at the final event of the evening. It was an entrancing night. The resplendent night sky was so close, it appeared to be virtually tangible. The illustrious stars filled the inky black curtain of night, and it seemed as if they would essentially pour down from the sky.

The gentle murmur of voices carried through the night air in a peaceful hum, giving off the false sense of tranquility.

That was when terror hit.

A short distance away, Arthit hit the ground, breaking the calm of the night.

------

The heavens favored Arthit. The group of physicians they had encountered that day were nearby. Jay, who was among them knew exactly how to control Arthit's symptoms. It turns out, Jay's presence was a blessing in disguise.
