[Kongpob]

[Location: Image Horizon]

Arthit was his past and he had intended on keeping it that way. So why was he standing in front of Image Horizon? 'To manage the progress of the joint project,' was what he had told Pern.

This particular joint project was only one out of many, and not even the most important. So, it wasn't unusual that his secretary was questioning his actions. Kongpob never personally took the initiative to visit another company. He only directly interacted with other executives or company representatives when it was absolutely necessary. On top of that, it was always the opposing parties who made the appointments to see him. Not the other way around. This was the very first time he had ever requested for a meeting.

Pern had probably thought that he was going crazy when she called had it in for him. The company was nowhere near a megacorporation. She would have never guessed in a million years that her boss would want to visit a small-time, landscape design and architecture company.

The meeting was going to be an informal one. He would be briefed about the details behind the progress and meet with the design team. It was supposed to be an inconspicuous event.

That didn't work out very well with Kongpob's visuals. Standing tall in a fitted, charcoal grey, Armani suit, he was attracting a lot of attention.

"Ai'Kong! Aren't we going to go in?" Em whispered, standing next to him.

Along with his secretary, Kongpob had brought along Em, and few of the team leaders from the construction and engineering department. They would be meeting up with the head project managers while he talked with the executive of the company. After all, they were here for business.

As Kongpob sat with Khun Knot listening to his vision behind the Art and Music Center, he perused through the documents in front of him. The papers didn't tell him much. The only significant information he obtained from it, was that Arthit was a landscape architect who specialized in floral design.

The other evening, Kongpob and his friends had gathered at their usual place for a drink. After confirming with Wad the identity of his secretary, they sat around in astonishment. Someone so closely related to Arthit had been around them for the past five years.

Through his conversation with Wad; that night, he became aware of many things.

First and foremost, he learned that he didn't know much about Arthit at all.

Working with the same person for so many years, privies one with information about the other party; regardless of whether you were interested in knowing or not.

On behalf of this, Wad's brain contained a decent amount of data concerning Arthit. Since connecting the dots between Namtan and Arthit, it was only now that the information became useful.

Thanks to Wad's photographic memory, there were five important points Kongpob took away from that night: (1) Arthit and Namtan were practically siblings; (2) the girl Arthit has been cohabitating with since he was nine years old was Namtan; (3) Namtan was searching for a potential partner for Arthit; (4) Arthit was single; and (5) Arthit had never dated before.
