[Kongpob]
[Flashback: Confession]
After his confession, they sat under the stars in silent reverence. Their only form of dialogue was the unspoken words communicated through their eyes. Arthit's once tense body was now relaxed, and leaning forward towards him. His glimmering eyes looked up at his in a daze; not breaking contact.
It seemed Arthit had not fully grasped the intensity of his words, but this was good enough for him.
Kongpob gently leaned in; as he drew closer, Arthit's eyes fluttered shut allowing him the privilege. He placed a chaste kiss on a tenuous eyelid, reveling in adoration for the man in front of him.
As much as he didn't want this moment to end, reality would soon be approaching. With the night growing much darker around them, the time to let Arthit go had arrived. Planting another soft kiss on the side of Arthit's warm cheek, his lips teased the area before pulling away.
He smiled down at Arthit's blushing face, even in the darkness it was visible. He pondered to himself, and wondered if there was a possibility of ever falling out of love with this person; there was not. There was no room for escape; he wanted all of Arthit. Always.
With that in mind, he gingerly separated himself from Arthit and moved to turned on the engine. This was enough for tonight. One day, he would have all of him.
[Flashback: Three Dates Compromise]
Kongpob's lips were faintly twitching from working to hold in a much larger grin. He looked on in amusement at Arthit's flummoxed expression. They had just agreed to try out three dates before Arthit made up his mind about dating him.
He had three dates. Three chances to win Arthit over. This was more than enough time for him; he only hoped that within this time, Arthit could see that social standing wouldn't be a problem for them.
He held back a laugh at the thought. Arthit had confessed that the biggest issue was their financial differences. Most people would have considered gender differences as a greater issue. The fact that Arthit was hell-bent on rejecting him over their dissimilar economic standing was more than amusing. It was hilariously charming.
As he walked over to his desk, he was lost in astonishment. Every day his love for Arthit grew. Even when he didn't think there was any more room for it, his heart grew fuller with tenderness.
[Real Time: A Week Later | Friday]
When he picked Arthit up in front of Image Horizon, he hadn't quite expected him to look so exhausted.
Earlier that day, Arthit had asked if they could reschedule their date to a later time. The later time turned out to be eight-thirty in the evening. Completely drained of energy, Arthit was slouched against the seat inside his white Lamborghini Veneno.
Whatever Kongpob's plans had been for that evening, he quickly threw them aside and changed the course of the date. After inputting in a new location within the navigation system, he drove out of the company parking lot.
At a red-light, Kongpob glanced down at the slumbering Arthit in concern. As reluctant as he was in cancelling their date, he didn't want his partner to suffer. However, no matter how much he tried to convince Arthit to go home and rest for tonight, Arthit had been adamant when he insisted that they carry on with their scheduled time together. Apparently a promise was a promise.
