(Tirs' point of view)

Everyone cheers and shouts. Eric lies there sprawled across the floor, lying in his own blood, and Tobias'. Tobias stands up and raises his arms in victory, but he isn't Tobias. He is Four. I sigh and try to look happy for him. I should be happy for him. He won.

Tori enters the ring and whispers something to Four but he just shrugs it off. She shakes her head but smiles. Her mouth moves but the sound is lost in the bellows and yells of the people around me. Eventually everyone is quiet enough for her to talk.

"The first champion of our new start!" she calls and grabs one of his hands and holds it up for everyone to see. "Four!" she calls people join in with the chant.

Two men make there way into the ring and pick Eric up, one of his arms held across each of there shoulders. I make my way through the crowd and follow them down to the hospital. If he visits me in hospital it's only right for me to visit him.

When I get there they won't let me in. I slouch in a chair in the waiting room and run my fingers through my tattered hair. I must be a mess, I haven't showered in God knows how long.

"Have I done something wrong?" He sounds on edge. When I turn to look at him he fidgets nervously with his hair, he bounces on the balls of his feet, still full of adrenaline. His knuckles are bashed and bruised, so is his face. He still looks as handsome as ever. I shake the thought from my head and answer his question at the same time.

"No, I just want to see if he's okay." I give him a half smile and walk over and pull him into my arms. It takes him a second to hug me back but he does and he starts to laugh. "What's so funny?" I giggle, it's rare for him to laugh and when he does it makes me forget every other problem in the world.

"I'm sorry Tris, but you really stink" I can't help but laugh with him.

"Yeah I know, I need a shower. Just one thing though, why didn't you tell me that Eric visited?" I almost regret asking the second the words leave my lips but I I need to know. Tobias pulls away and cups my face in his hands.

"Because I love you, and because I worry about the way he looks at you. Because I'm selfish and want to keep you all to myself. Because if I lost you to him I don't know what I would do." His Voice hitches but I press my lips to his, not caring how much I smell.

"You don't have to worry about that. Not ever. I don't care what he thinks of me, I can hardly stand him..."

"But you came to see if he was okay before you even spoke to me. I wasn't expecting a congratulations or anything, I know I shouldn't have hit him again at the end and I have no excuse for it." He looks so sorry it hurts. But he isn't sorry for hurting Eric, he is sorry for disappointing me. I'm not even disappointed.

"You don't need to be sorry, I wasn't really thinking when I left, I was just thinking about after I was knocked out be Peter, how much it helped to have someone there when I woke up. It was even more helpful to have you there when I woke up today. I guess a part of me is still Abnegation, I guess I always will be, even just a little bit." He shakes his head and brings his lips to my ear, speaking so quietly I can hardly hear him.

"Not Abnegation, Divergent." The word sends a shiver down my spine.

"I still want to see him..." I admit. Tobias nods.

"Why didn't you shower first, if I'm honest I don't think he will wake up for some time."

"Sounds like a plan." He kisses me before letting me go.

I slowly make my way back up to the glass building I brush past Peter on the way up. He says nothing, the black circle around his eye suggests that he has been in a fight, Christina told me that he had lost his job in the council and was being forced to work in the kitchens and to help clean the pit. I guess someone did think that that was a good enough punishment.
