Its midnight when Manik feel thirsty , he saw that Cabir is sleeping beside him on his stomach and his legs on Manik's leg. Manik throw his legs and came to kitchen , he drank water and came back . HE is not feeling sleepy , so he came to balcony and was looking at the stars then his eyes fall in Nandini's balcony. HE looked there in shock, and then look in his watch, its 1:00AM. Nandini is standing in her room balcony. She was lost in deep thoughts, the wind is giving a chilling sensation to her. She open her messy bun and look at the city of dreams from her balcony. Don't know where but her gaze is fixed somewhere.
M(thought): Why is she doing at this time??
Manik is looking at her keenly , her hairs are flying as wind is blowing and she was putting some of her hair strands behind her ear. In the moon reflection , she is looking beautiful but pale, coz there is no hint of peace and happiness on her face.
NANDINI POV
What is going in my life, some point I am not able to understand it. Whenever I try to make myself strong, some strom arrive and broke my that strength. I know I am not that strong Nandini Murty anymore , who used to fight for herself, who used to raise her voice for herself. Last week, again a strom came in my life which again broke the strength I have after coming to Mumbai. Last week , with that incident all the memories of my bad past flash in front of my eyes again.
Last week incident again left me weak . I felt so helpless and disgust at the moment, when..when they touch me. But somewhere I knew that someone will come to save me and he (Manik) came, he came to save me from those morons . Don't know why..but I never feel uncomfortable around him. Somewhere I feel that he will never gonna do anything wrong with me. But ..my mind and heart don't want to make any relation, any hope and any expectation from anyone. That 's what life taught me with past incidents..that never believe and never expect anything from anyone. But, at one point my thoughts stop on him. I am so confuse with my thoughts. Today when he came my heart smile a little but at very next moment my mind tell me to close the door. But he came in, his eyes are showing concern for me. HE was concern for my health, for my food and for me... and that is all I don't want. I don't want to create any new hope form him. And like a stubborn head he is doing that only . Again he asked me for friendship, this time I was not able to say no to him willingly and unwillingly I asked yes to him. I told him that ..this friendship is just for project but I am feeling like its going to be for forever. When he came to save me, I looked at him hope in my eyes and the hug we share felt so right at the moment. His arms felt so protective, his embrace around me gave me vibes of safety , his hold on me was so tight like it mean that he will never let me go off from them.
First moment I thought that he will not hurt me but the very next moment he bring tears in my eyes. He gave me pain in his anger, yes..that moment his eyes are reflecting red color of anger. Why I am thinking about him so much he is just my mentor..and here comes the answer of my question from my heart. I am thinking about him ..coz he is roaming in my mind.
Don't know how my thoughts reach to him, and stop over him only . Aiyappa... what is happening with me, please stop these chain of thoughts. Aiyappa..help me I am not getting what is happening to me. Aiyappa.. I need my best frnd, I need Sanjh, she understand me. My sister knows me ..she know that what is happening to my mind.
I hurridly came to my room and pick my phone to make a call to Sanjh but I look at the time its 1:48AM. She must be sleeping , I am gonna talk to her tomorrow . I look at Aiyappa photo frame and lay down on my bed.
NANDINI POV END
Nandini slept while looking at Ayiappa 's photo. She slept while waiting for the morning..coz she slept with those thoughts and question which are making her mind restless.
On the other hand, Manik was still standing in the balcony, he was constantly looking at her figure with a look of admiration..till the time she disappear in her flat. Manik came back to room and lay down beside Cabir with unknown thought.
NEXT MORNING
Nandini wake up by the sound of continuous bell. With sleepy eyes she open the door and found Sanjh standing there with a bag. Her sleep fly away after looking at Sanjh. She happily hug and bring her inside.
N: Good Morning
Sa: Good Morning.... Sun tu jaldi se fresh hoke aa me breakfast lae hu, apan saath me khaege
N: ok ...me abhi aati hu
Sa: sunn..
N: ha
Sa: jaldi aana ..mujhe bhook lag rhe h
N(smilingly): ok
Nandini left for bath, and came out wear a simple kurta leggie And her hairs in a simple braid.
