Katrinna Marden is a simple girl. She's also one of the few top students at Pharen Magick High, along with her best friend Kristen Haler and a select few. Katrinna and Kristen meet Brendan and Nathan Pharen, sons of the school founder and they soon become best friends. Though Brendan's ex-girlfriend, Katherine, returns for an assignment. Determined to win him back, she gets side tracked, falling in love with Nathan. Seeing the bond between Nathan and Katrinna, she uses her assignment to challenge her. Brendan helps Katrinna prepare for it, spending lots of time with her; Nathan becomes jealous. Kristen helps Brendan along with his lessons as well as being a listening ear. Who will fall for who?
