-----------------------------------

The next morning was peaceful. Birds faintly chirped outside my window, the hallways carried muffled voices of the other students who had woken up earlier. I turned my body towards the direction of the window to find the blinding sunlight shining on my face. I groaned as I flicked my wrist to close the curtains. As the room fell darker, my eyes relaxed and fell back asleep.

A couple hours later, I awoke in my bed. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I looked at my bedside clock. '11:15am- Sat.'

"Wow, I must have been tired. . . Huh, good thing it's a Saturday. . ." I said to myself.

I reluctantly got out of bed, not wanting to leave the warm, secure feeling. I swung my feet and placed them on the floor, I jumped slightly from the abrupt coldness that shot up through my body. I slowly placed my feet on the floor once more, and stood up a couple minutes later.

After doing the usual morning business, I sat back on my bed as I thought of the things to do.

'Hmm... Aw man!! I have homework!! Ugh might as well do that first before roaming around...'

With that I bent down to collect my textbooks off the ground and walked to my desk. I plopped the books down and placed myself in an office chair and got straight to work.

An hour or two later, I finally finished my homework. Placing my pencil down, I closed my books and spun around to stretch. I covered my mouth as I tried stifling a yawn.

"Oh man I'm hungry!! Hmm come to think of it, I never ate breakfast!! Well, off to the cafe!" I chimed.

I got up from my office chair and went to my bathroom. I looked at myself and decided that I was dressed decent enough. I smiled in satisfaction and made my way to the door. Before leaving, I grabbed my mage coat and put it on, finally heading out of my dorm.

I walked drowsily down the hall, constantly rubbing my eyes to deter the sleep from them. Walking aimlessly through the halls, I stayed on the shaded side while keeping my gaze away from the huge stain-colored windows. I couldn't keep myself from yawning every five minutes. Too drowsy, I was unaware of the upper popular crowd a little ways in front of me.

“Man, I hope they’re still serving food... Ughh”

I raised my hand to cover my mouth as I stifled yet another yawn. As I finished yawning, I bumped into another person.

"Ah..."

I looked up to see who I bumped into, and saw Brendan, smiling at me. I looked to each of his sides and saw Nathan with him and the boy who I remembered as Leo. He had the same furious expression as he saw me.

"Oh, Morning Brendan, Nathan. . . lackey . ."

Nathan gave a light smile and nodded while Leo scoffed and continued to glare at me. Of course I ignored him as I turned my attention back to Nathan and Brendan.

"Sorry for bumping into you like that..."

I covered my mouth as I yawned again and rubbed my eyes. I blinked a couple times before looking back up at Brendan. I saw him grin, and he started to laugh.

"Haha! it's alright, and it seems someone is still tired, despite the fact it's past lunch time...So technically it’s not morning anymore…"

"Ah, y-yeah. . . I just woke up, sorta kinda."

I smiled sheepishly as I realized that it must have been obvious. Though he still smiled and shook his head. Then I glanced at Leo, who looked like he wanted to explode at me. I enjoyed his expression as he was probably mentally scolding me. Of course, he wouldn't say anything in fear of getting yelled at. I snapped out of my thought as I heard the familiar quiet voice.

" So Katrinna, what are you doing now. . .?"

"Huh?? Oh nothing, actually. . . I was gonna head to the café to see if they’re still serving. .. Though I highly doubt that so I was going to try get Kristen, but that stuck up group she calls 'friends' despise me..."

"Hmm, I see" Brendan pondered.

"Well then, I suppose we can be of assistance," The quieter voice offered. My gaze turned to Nathan, and my eyes had an interested gleam to it, which gave him the confirmation to say his plan.

"It's simple really... We are of the upper crowd, if we happen to bump into the lower crowd, we could ask them whatever necessary and they would comply...."

"Ah!! That's right!! And not to mention the fact that they adore us until no end...." Brendan added as he gave me a reassuring smile. Nathan shrugged but smiled slightly afterwards. I couldn't help but grin and nod.

“I don’t like the thought of using our ranks as a means of getting what we want, but it’s a legitimate plan, so it’s alright. .”

"Alright then!! Let's go!"

"How are you going to find them though, this school is huge and they could be anywhere,” That annoying voice blurted out.. 'Oh, Leo be quiet...' I turned to Leo as I gave him a look and finally replied.

"I can use my power to locate and pinpoint their locations, through the vibrations of their feet that is...”

"That's impossible!!" Leo protested.

I scoffed at the fact that he didn't believe me. I was betting on hearing one thing, and I heard it all right, but not what I had expected.

"Be quiet, Leo....” Two words said in unison!! Brendan had said it too?! I would have thought he was the polite one... Said in almost the exact same tone too...

"I-I'm sorry!!" Leo apologized.

"... Anyways...just give me a moment..." I said.

I knelt down as I placed my hands near my knees as I touched the ground, palms nearly flat on the granite. I closed my eyes. In my mind, a world of black enveloped me, and the white outline of the hallways and gardens appeared. Each step taken, emitted large vibration pools that reflected the individual. As I scanned the campus, I finally found the familiar group outside in the garden, sitting and talking. Scanning the group to find Kristen, I found her familiar vibrations by her foot taps. I smiled as I slowly opened my eyes and stood up straight. I turned towards a patient Brendan and Nathan.

"They're in the garden at the east side of the school..."

Nathan and Brendan smiled as the group gaped in awe. I raised an eye brow at the reactions I got. Turning my attention to the Pharen brothers, I heard Brendan say.

"Let's go then!" I grinned and nodded once more before joining them, side by side to retrieve our friend.
