WITNESS WALLS
Trapped among those four walls
She screamed her heart out,
Sobbed for freedom.
She was forever locked in this house,
This hell!He was supposed to protect her
Cherish and love her,
All he did was destroy her.
He betrayed her trust
He was a snake.He played her,
Married her,
Kept her in his house.
She called it a cage
He called it home.The walls were the only witness-
They echoed with her voice;
Her screeching voice.
Each time she'd scream,
They would tremble.They were painted all white
But they would feel her body against it.
Each time she'd slide down and weep.
All the violence going on,
The fightings.They were all present.
They bore the marks.
Surely the walls weren't only walls.
They had ears;
They had eyes.They saw her dead corps
Hanging on the ceilings,
The death she planned-
They heard her hourly talks.
They weren't just walls.
They were witnesses
Meant to remain silent forever.
