Chapter7

"Emma's POV*

I opened my eyes slowly and sat there facing the wall. I sat up and looked at Brendon he was sleeping holding my hand. I let go of his hand and he rolled over his back facing me I stood up and walked in the kitchen. And got some breakfast and I ate and then left him a note,

Bren, Don't freak out I'm in my room

I sat it on my pillow and I ran up the stairs grabbing my guitar out of the hall-way closet and went in my room shutting the door.

*Brendon's POV* 

My eyes shot open when I realized she wasn't next to me.  I felt around and found a piece of paper I read it and nodded to myself. A huge weight came off my chest and I sat up rubbing my eyes. I stood up walking up the stairs, I stopped when I heard a guitar and I smiled and just listened. It was an amazing sound I knocked on the door and the playing stopped. 

"Come in" I opened the door to find Emmy sitting at her desk. Literally just sitting there no papers just a guitar. I smiled "Morning handsome" She smiled back at me. That smile damn that smile drives me insane, she put the guitar next to her desk and walked across the room and kissed me. Her lips against mine sent a fire up and down my spine. I pulled away and hugged her tightly.

"I love you" I whispered in her ear. She smiled 

"I love you too" she grabbed my shirt and twirled it in her fingures. She is so beautiful, her eyes met mine. "What are we supposed to tell our friends. I mean Kassie is gonna kill m-" the doorbell rang and she let out a sigh.

"Who's that?" I let go of her waist and kissed her forehead.

"It's Cole and should we tell him" she looked towards the stairs.

"Tell him" and she took off running down the stairs. I followed behind her.

*Emma's POV*

"Hey Cole" I opened the door and smiled. He already looked suspicous I laughed.

"How was your night?" He cocked his head and raised his eyebrows.

"Its was go-" I heard Brendon clear his throat.

"Hey Cole whats up?" He came up next to me and grabbed my hand. Cole's eyes shot down to our hands. And got really wide and he stared at me.

"Uh- Nothing just coming to hang out for a bit my mom is going on a lunch date....what's this" He picked up my hand look at the bracelet. 

"Uh a peace of jewlery. You know that pretty shiney stuff that my mom wears" I bent over laughing and he shook his head.

"Nah dip. I mean where did you get it"

"OH umm I got it at the mall..Brendon has one that matches mine" I let go of Brendon's hand and he looked at the small cursive E on Brendon's and a B on mine.  I pulled Cole in and we all sat down in the living room. Brendon grabbed my waist pulling me onto his lap and Cole made a surprised face. 

"So are you guys a thing?" He raised an eyebrow. I looked at Brendon

"Yeah we are" We said in sync and he rubbed my back.

"But Cole don't say anything to Kass. I don't think I can handle her yelling at me anymore" I shivered as Brendon's hand touched the bare skin on my back.

"Yeah I figured you wouldn't want her knowing..She called me this morning she  sounded upset." He nodded. Why was she upset? Did I do something. I made a confused look and just as I was about to say something my phone stared to ring. I stood up and answered it.

Me: Hello?

Kass: Hey um I need to talk to you. And I cant do it in person. Do you have a minute?

Me: Yeah yeah of course Im just sitting here watching tv 

I shrugged 

Kass: Okay good, um I don't think we can be friends anymore and I know we've been friends for a long time but I just can't do it anymore. I didn't have enough strength to tell Cole-on-The phone.

She started balling on the phone with me

Me: Hey Kass its okay I'll tell him when I can

Kass: I- I can't do this anymore I'm sorry but please dont call me anymore. Good Bye Emma

She hung up and I stood there in shock with the phone to my ear. I slowly lowered my hand and walked back to the couch. How was I going to tell Cole, they have been best friends longer then we all three have and I knew he was going to be crushed. Just like I already am. 

"Emma what's wrong" Cole's voice sounded worried. I broke down at the sound of his voice. I felt sparks around me immediately. I thought I'd be able to handle this. All the fights we've all been through as a group of bestfriends. The depression the heartbreak, tens years of advice and girl talks. I was breaking. Im nothing without Kass I leaned into Brendon and just cried. I remembered all the times she's needed us all the good times. Seemed so blurry she knew everything about us both. Memories of us repeated in my head

*Flashback to Freashmen Year*

"KASS stop I'm going to puke" I tried putting my feet on the ground

"No your no-" I ended up puking on her and we both fell on the ground laughing "EW Emma you nasty"

*Reality*

They all circled my head. I took deep breathes and I sat up. Cole was infront of me on his knees. 

"Emma whats wrong. Is Kassie okay?? Are you okay?" he put his hands on my knees. I shrugged

"She said she didn't want to be our friend anymore..Im good now" when I said that I could see pure heartbreak in his eyes. He shook his head and faked a smile "C I'm sorry"

"Don't be sorry it's her choice. I'm- We will be okay" He stood up and hugged me and then he left. I looked at Brendon and he was staring dead at me with a dangerous smile. 

"Like what ya see?" I smiled.  He nodded and leaned towards me and kissed me. I pulled away biting my lip. "I love you" I kissed him again. The kiss went from slow to passionate within seconds. I guess I was really in love with him and he really was different from the others. I locked my figures in his hair and he pulled me on his lap. His tongue licked my bottom lip asking to enter. I opened my mouth and my brain exploded. I pulled away and caught my breathe he smiled.

"I love you too."
