I looked up and saw the teacher pointing to an empty seat two chairs beside me.

When she put her hand down, a person figure entered the room. This couldn't get more complicated.

Lucas.

I couldn't believe his first class could have been this one.
No.
I couldn't believe he, AGAIN, got away from Sharon.
Wait, no.
I couldn't believe he "got lost" and ended up in the same place as I did, AGAIN.

I tried to ignore him because our last encounter ended up very awkward for me. He giving out his jacket to me without no certain reason at all. Lately I've been starting to think he's a little weird, but he seems nice though, behind all the weirdness.

I hid my face with my hair and the jacket sleeve. I have forgotten I had the jacket still on.

This couldn't be more uncomfortable.

Loud, hard, mostly manly, steps walked down the classroom, into the chairs, and beside my seat.

I peeked a little to my right to see Lucas sitting down, putting his bag on the back of the chair, and throwing a look at me.

As I saw him looking at me, I quickly moved my head and my sight down to my binder paper, motionless.

During the entire class, I kept on peeking to see him. And every time I did, he was looking at me.

I just wanted the class to end, so this awkward situation finishes.

The bell rang finally, and I picked up my stuff quickly and headed to the door to exit.

When I got out, I felt someone tap me on my shoulder. I turned around with some paper folders hanging from my mouth because of how fast I needed to leave the room.

Lucas...again.

He smiled and showed me a notebook.

"You dropped this."

I stared blankly at him, speechless and shocked. He was still holding the notebook handing it to me, but my brain didn't let my body move. My brain didn't send any message to any part of my body to tell it what to do.

I didn't say anything but kept on staring, after he smiled and took my hand.

"OK, since you're not taking the notebook, I'm taking you.''

This made me snap out of my empty consciousness. ''What do you mean?'' When I said this it was already late; he had grabbed my hand and walked away with me. He didn't seem to listen to what I said, well he kept on walking with my hand held.

I was getting frustrated already so I decided to stop this now. I tapped his shoulder, softly and nice, but he didn't look back neither stopped walking. Since my tap didn't have any effect on him, I decided to tap harder. Still no reaction. I got tired of his little game, so I started to play mine too, to play tough. I stopped walking and pushed backwards as he kept pulling forward to walking. I used all my strength to pull more backwards. He then stopped pushing and walking, he just stood there. I waited for something to happen, but nothing was going on in that moment.

I sighed deeply so he could hear me, which made him turn to me. ''Can you explain me what's going on?'' I said.

Lucas looked at me, at my eyes, then down to his hand still holding mine. As he realized he have not let go of my hand, he slowly started to do so.

I kept on waiting for him to do something, to say something, but nothing was felt, neither a lazy breeze.

Was then when he finally said something, ''I wanted to ask you a question''. He looked to the floor, to my feet, not his. I wondered what was so interesting about my old dirty shoes that he couldn't stop looking at, so I looked at them too.
