After all the show was over, I kept on writing down the class as I noticed something coming out of the jacket's sleeve.

A piece of ripped paper.

It had something written on, but it was hard to read, well it seemed the paper was soaked and the ink was worn out.

I took the piece of paper out carefully, and read the only thing that was most readable: "Oak Park at 4:30"

I wonder what that means.

Waiting anxiously for the class to end to go ask Lucas about the soaked note in the jacket, I kept on looking to the clock on top of the classroom door.

When the class ended finally, I ran to the door and to the hallway. I took my phone out of my pocket and clicked the phone icon. Scrolled down and up looking for Sharon's name. As I found her contact name, I pressed the 'call' button.

The phone rang five times before she finally answered.

"Cris, hey! What's wrong?", a male voice was heard through the other side of the line.

I sighed and kept silence; this could only be Sharon's brother, Shawn. During the while I was silent, the voice didn't speak either. Tired of waiting for the voice to say something, I started to talk.

"Shawn, I know this is you, can you please put Sharon on the phone, it's important."

"Look, Cris, Sharon can't take the call for now, but tell me what's wrong, I can tell her the news when she comes back, don't worry." Listening to this voice made me have goosebumps for no reason at all, and I was getting curious. This didn't sound as Shawn, though, he's the only person Sharon would left her phone with.

"Hello? Crystal? Are you there?"

I snapped out of my unconsciousness and answered. "Yeah, I'm here. It seemed weird for me for a second. Shawn, are you okay? You sound...unlike you..."

A low breath could be heard through the phone, but he didn't answer right away, weird thing because he always does.

"Yeah I'm okay, no need to worry. Um...so, are you gonna tell me what's the big deal that you have to tell Sharon?" He sounded pretty nervous. I was doubting on telling him, but he is Sharon's brother, my brother's best friend too, and we did get along very well.

"Look Shawn, I can't tell you the whole story with detail because it is not a true fact, yet. But when it is, I'll sure tell you okay?"

"Ugh fine. But please hurry, before Sharon comes back." this seemed a lot weirder; if Sharon was coming soon, why didn't he just wait for her? I didn't hesitate and made no more questions, so I went on and explained him. "Okay, so, let's just say the thing is about this new guy in our class that keeps on being weirder and weirder. There's this issue that came out of his owning, in other words, and I was wondering what is it about. And that's a mission for me and your sister. So, kudos!"

"Um, wait Cris, what do you mean 'issue that came out of his owning'?" he asked desperate.

"Nothing, Shawn, just please as soon as Sharon is back tell her to call me."

"Sure. Also, is there somewhere specific you want to meet her? Like now? You know, to talk about 'the issue'?"

I was getting creeped out with all these strange questions that the supposed ''Shawn'' was making me. "I don't think so, but tell her to call me please"

"Okay!"he said and with this I closed the call, wondering and asking myself what had just happened.

Six and a half minutes have passed and still no sign of Sharon. I was starting to get worried, when I see my brother and his best friend, Shawn of course, walking down the hall towards my direction. This couldn't get any weirder, I just ended a call with Shawn not so long, and then he appears out of nowhere walking down the hall with my brother...So I decided to go to them and chat for a while, until Sharon gives a sign of life.

"Hey Marcus!" I ran to him waving.

"Hey lil sis! What'up?" said Marcus opening his arms ready to wrap me up with them. I hugged him tight as always and then greeted Shawn with a hug too, because I'm like his little sister too.

I smiled at both of the guys and put my hands in the jacket's pockets. "Nothing much, just wondering if you guys have seen Sharon by any chance?"

They both looked at each other in confusion. Marcus then looked at me from up to down in a strange look. "Sis, that jacket...you were not wearing it this morning weren't you? I don't remember seeing it any time in my entire life living with you." Said Marcus running a hand in his hair as in concern.

My grin vanished instantly from my face and my eyes began to scan my body from toes up. I have forgotten I was still wearing Lucas' jacket. I didn't feel like giving any explanation of this to my brother at that moment, so I just shrugged and avoided the question.

"Um...Shawn...are you sure you don't have a clue where Sharon may be?" I asked him desperate.

His eyesight went up to the ceiling and he shrugged his shoulders as well and looked at me confused. "No, I don't know, why you ask me that?"

"But I was just talking to you in the phone. Well actually, I called Sharon's phone, and you were the one who answered...didn't you?..." and this is when all my thoughts started to fill up in my head and get messed up in a really unpleasant mess. What I mean with this is that the supposed "Shawn" I was talking to by phone, may or may not have been, the one and only, Lucas.

Ugh so annoying.

Shawn's face was more lost than a stray puppy. "Um...no...you were not talking to me...I haven't see Sharon during the past two hours."

I face palmed myself and sighed. "Never mind. See you later guys, there's something I have to do"

After saying my goodbyes to the guys I turned around and walked to the backyard to see if I could meet perhaps with Sharon.

Before even walking out the door, without noticing my body was pushed because of someone else's body. "Sorry, I'm in a hurry". When I look up to see who I had accidentally pushed, all my emotions and thoughts dropped down to my feet.

It was Nathan, my ex.
