"Vandalism?"

"You aren't actually going to do this, are you, Millie?" Sadie asked, after I explained a few things.

"Vandalism? Really?" Finn asked, tapping his fingers along the tree standing next to his house.

"Yeah! I bought some spray paint! I've never really done this before though..." I trailed off, handing Sadie the blue bottle and Finn the green.

I kept the yellow spray paint for myself and shook it up like I saw in the movies when people use spray paint.

"Vandalize what? Your mom's house?" Sadie asked, shaking up her can.

"Yeah, she's been a real bitch about all this." I shrugged, drawing a line with the paint across the white wood.

Sadie drew a smiley face and wrote "yeet" in big letters. Finn drew a common vandalism sign, one usually drawn on people's faces when they fall asleep.

"I just love looking back on the fact that we met on the boardwalk and now we're vandalizing your own home," Finn sighed, smiling.

"Yeah, but you were a salty little ass when I first met you, and you know that." I said, focusing on my spray painting but still raising an eyebrow.

"TRUE!" Sadie piped up, blocking the spray paint from reaching her face with her hand. She had just done the finishing touch on the words "eat a rock."

"Very nice choice of words?" I questioned, looking at Sadie's painting across the white wood on the side of my tall house.

She nodded, and looked over to what Finn was writing across my door. "Bitch." I read what he had written out loud.

"I signed bitch with a small heart to add to the effect." Finn said, emphasizing the word "effect."

"Fun, we should go before she comes outside," I suggested, shoving the can of paint in my jacket pocket.

I grabbed the hands of Finn and Sadie, and we ran. All the way to Dunkin' donuts. Even though it was a few blocks away.

"I got some money from my mom's pocket earlier when I spoke with her." I smiled, making a cha-ching noise.

"I didn't think stealing was your style, princess." Finn said, crossing his arms, clearly impressed.

"I didn't think so either," Sadie questioned. "Mi-llie. What has gotten into you?"

I leaned on the counter in front of us. "I'll take an iced coffee, and for the guy, an iced coffee, hold the ice. And the other will be having the same as me."

"Did you actually have to ask for an iced coffee, without ice?"
