"I have a friend who works here."

Finn tapped on the counter. "Hey uh, can I see Jaeden?" He asked the guy, taking orders.

The man nodded, and looked to the back and brought out a scrawny young kid. "Hey Finn!" Jaeden said.

"Hey, so here's my girlfriend," He motioned to me, and Sadie giggled and nearly fell to the floor. "Shut up, Sadie."

"Oh by the way, have you talked to Wyatt recently?" The boy who's name is apparently Jaeden, said.

"Nope, why have you two not made out in a while?" Finn asked, laughing loudly. Okay so, this Jaeden kid is gay.

"Shut up, Finn. I was just asking." Jaeden's face turned red, as he slapped Finn's arm. "So why'd you call me out here?"

"Can we get a discount on our drinks?" Finn asked, cheekily grinning.

"Fine, whatever." Jaeden said, handing Finn a half off coupon, and walking back to the kitchen.

"He's nice," Sadie said, smiling. "I would totally date him if he wasn't gay."

"God, Sadie, you'd date anyone." Finn said, paying with the coupon. He handed us our drinks, and grasped my hand.

Sadie's ringtone began playing, causing heads to turn throughout the establishment. "Hi mom," She whispered.

"You need me home?" Sadie pouted. "Okay, I'll be home in five." Sadie said, clicking the red button.

"Well, that sucks." I said. "Finn, you're driving her home." I said, pushing the door open.

"My car is back at my house," Finn said. "Three blocks away." Sadie growled.

"Well I'm going to run back and y'all will join me." I jogged, taking small sips from the coffee.

"Don't you guys dare spill that, it was expensive even with the coupon." Finn said, breathily running behind.

We finally reached the car, and Sadie plopped herself in the backseat. "It's only a mile from here, on Serpentine Ln."

"I know where that is," Finn said, putting his GPS back in his pocket. "What number?"

"5609." Sadie said, leaving her seatbelt unbuckled. "Yes, Millie, I know you're gonna say it's unsafe."

I was gonna say that, but Sadie was just on her smart-ass radar. How great, Sadie, how great.
