"So how'd it go with Chuck?" Kevin asked Veronica as Betty and I stood next to her.
"Chuck has muscles for days, but his conversation is not the stuff of Oscar Wilde, or even Diablo Cody." Veronica said making us laugh.
"Hey, Veronica. How was the Sticky Maple you had last night?" A girl said walking past us.
"A what now?" Veronica asked furrowing her brows.
"The one Chuck gave you?" The girl next to her said as they continued walking.
"A brownie sundae if thats what you hyenas mean." Veronica said closing her locker. As if on cue everyone in that same hallway got a notification on there phone.
"Oh, my God." Kevin said looking at his phone.
"What?" Veronica took his phone out of his hands to see a picture of her face covered in syrup making me furrow my brows.
"What the hell is a sticky maple?" Veronica rose her voice.
"It's kind of what it sounds like. It's a Riverdale thing." Kevin said making me roll my eyes.
"No, Kevin, It's a slut shaming thing. And I'm niether a slut, nor am I going to be shamed by someone named Chuck Clayton. Does he really think he can get away with this? Does he not know who I am. I will cut the brakes on his souped-up Phallic symbol." Veronica said obviously mad about the situation. I mean honestly how can you make a a joke about food.
"Or we can go to Principle Weatherbee." Betty stated.
"About the coach's son? Who is captain of the football team, and Riverdale High's resident golden boy?"
"Or I can expose him in the pages of the Blue and Gold. Yeah, I can do that." Betty said quickly.
"Oh how I love reading about drama." I smiled before Veronica sent me a glare.
"Spoken like a true good girl who always follows the rules. Well I don't follow rules, I make them, and when necessary, I break them." Veronica said pushing Kevin out of the way and walking down the hall as we all followed her down that hall. We followed her into the boys locker room. Veronica kept walking in to find Chuck as I bumped into a very shirtless Archie making me go red.
"Hey, Archie." I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear as a light blush rushed up to my cheeks
"Macy? What are you doing here? Not that I don't want to see you. But why here?" Archie held onto his towel around his waist as it almost fell. Veronica pushed Archie out of the way and into a locker.
"Stay out of my way Andrews." Veronica continued walking with Betty and I still behind her. I turned to Archie and mouthed an 'I'm sorry' and continued walking.
"Huh, B nd V. And Andrews girlfriend. Manage right on ladies." Chuk said making all the boys laugh.
"I'm not dating him!" I goaned throwing my head back.
"This is disgusting. Take it down." Veronica said showing Chuck the picture of them.
"Why are you so wound up? It's a badge of honor, and your not exactly virgin territory after your closet date with Andrews." Chuck said making me roll my eyes.
"And you aren't on Mr. Big side either Chuck." I chuckled glancing at him as he sent me a glare.
"Okay, that's beyond irrelevent, Chuck. You're not allowed to go around humiliating girls, for any reason, under any circumstance, you Jerk." Betty spat at Chuck.
"Look, I get you're not a closet kind of girl, but hey, hey if you want to ride the Chuck wagon, that can be arranged." Chuck smirked at Betty.
"There won't be anything to rip after I rip your di-"
"Okay, Macy calm down." Archie pulled me back, still shirtless which I didn't mind, and covered my mouth with his hand before I could strangle Chuck.
"Lets keep this simple, so your preppy-murderer half-brain can grasp it. Take. This. The hell. Down." Veronica roe her voice with every step closer to Chuck.
"Okay, that high-toned bitch attitiude may have worked on the betas you dated in New York, but you're in Bulldog territory." Chuck said getting in Veronica's face.
"Can you believe that. This asshole thinks he's Scott McCall." I muttered rolling my eyes. A boy behind Chuck barked like a dog.
"But please, fight back." Chuck smirked.
"Archie let me go. Just let me hit him once. I can do it." I said trying to get out of Archies grasp but he still held onto my hands.
...
I was sitting on my dinning room table waiting for my mother once again for diner but she never came. I heard a knock on the door and stood up and went to open the door.
"Archie aren't you grounded?" I asked letting Archie in.
"I snuck out." He came in and stared at the two plates on the table.
"Oh, are you on a date or something? I should have texted you that I was coming by." Archie asked face palming him self.
"No, I'm not on a date with my very late mother." I let out a sarcastic chuckle. "All the boys in Riverdale are either taken or morons." I scoffed sitting in the same chair again.
"Which one am I?" Archie asked moving a chair closer to me and sitting down.
"I'm not answering that." I looked down with my cheeks going red.
"Fine if you're not going to answer niether will I." Archie said crossing his arms over his chest.
"I didn't ask you too." I smiled sarcastically at Archie.
"But you still want me too." Archie smirked at me making me roll my eyes.
"No I don't." I scoffed at him.
"Archie you really shouldn't be here you're going to get into trouble." I sighed brushing a hand through my hair.
"But I wanted to see you. And I know you wanted to see me." Archie said again.
"You're a little cocky tonight aren't you Archie." I got up and grabbed onto Archie's hand and pulled him to my living room and we sat on the couch.
"So what, brought you here Mr. Andrews?" I asked bringing one knee up to my chest.
"I don't know. I just like how I feel when I'm with you." Archie said locking his eyes with mine.
"And how do I make you feel?" I asked still looking him in the eyes as he started to lean closer to me.
"Happy. Like myself." Archie and I were now touching noses and with one move Archie and I would have kissed. And that's what happened Archie couldn't get enough of how close we were and I was now stradling his lap. My hands were on his chest and his hands were on my waist. The kiss was slow but needy. That was until Archie pushed me off and onto the couch with him standing up.
"That was a mistake. I'm with Ms. Grundy." Archie said and I felt my heart drop. But I wasn't going to show Archie how much that sentence hurt me.
"Get out. Get the hell out. Because that is one thing I am not Archie Andrews." I rose my voice walking over to the door and opened it and started pushing Archie out.
"You have a good night Mr. Andrews." I huffed and closed the door in his face. I rolled my eyes as the door closed and felt a tear drop down my eye quickly wipping it away.
