Lin's POV
Oh my go- I can't explain what I am feeling right now. The only thing I do know for sure is, I can't seem to let go. She didn't pull back either. A few seconds later, y/n seemed to give in. I did too. But something told me that it wouldn't last. She pulls away, shocked by the sudden change of mood. She tried to get as far away from me as possible, though it didn't work because we were in a car. She was breathing heavily, which kinda scared me. " y/n! Are you okay!? Look, I'm sorry that I kissed you! It was just a mistake! I-" " Lin, just, drive me home. It's been a long night." I felt my chest sink. "Y/n, You know I didn't mean t-" " I know. I just... need some time. We did just meet two days ago." I drove her home. It was really awkward driving back. It was really silent. When we hit a red light, I looked over to her. She was on her phone. Texting a girl, named Jo? Well, I guess it was her nickname. For some reason, it felt like a really long time since the green light had turned red. I saw my number. My name was ' Linnamon Roll ❤️'. It had a heart next to it. I saw a bunch of other cute nicknames, but I saw a normal one. No emoji. ' Damon.' Was that her e- " Lin! The light's green!" I had snapped back to reality, pressing on the gas pedal. We sped off to her house.

Once we got there, my mutual face had turned into a frown. I drove to the lobby, and the car door opened automatically. Before she could step foot on the cement, I shouted (though I was right next to her) " See you at the theatre on Wednesday."She had gotten the part, because she deserved it. She merely stopped at her tracks, and looked down. "Hope you have a good night, Lin." She walked to the door. I cannot forgive myself for doing this.

I'm coming to that party.

Y/n's POV
I made a huge mistake. I accidentally kissed him. This is the most embarrassing moment in my life. Well, other than Da- no. This was worse. I have only known Lin for 2 days, and I kissed him. This is all too soon.

When I got home, Jordyn was on her phone, sitting on her couch. Probably texting her "boyfriend". Oh! Sorry I forgot to tell you, but Jordyn, she wasn't in the other chapters because she was sleeping at Maye's house. Their birthdays are VERY close. Only 18 days away from each other. You, Maye, and Jordyn have known each other for a LONG time. Since you guys started grade school. Jordyn is one of a kind. So is Maye. You guys, somehow stuck together. Okie, I should go now. Bye!

Jordyn didn't even notice you come in. Her long, blonde, locks were all on one side, and her face was pale, except her always red cheeks. She was very pretty indeed, and you don't even know how you guys became friends. Once she noticed you, she smiled and put her phone away. "Sup, Jojo. Any juicy news you gotta tell me?" I said with a very devious smile. "Like I said y/n, I can't tell you anything!" She said rolling her eyes, but she was smiling. "Can you at least tell me the theme?"
I begged with puppy eyes.
"Tch, fine. Teen Wolf." Jordyn was playfully defeated by her best friend. "Oh! That's pretty easy. I'll just dress up as Kira!" I exclaimed. "I guess I have to dress up as Erica." She sighs. She looked tired. That look on her face was wiped away. Uh oh.
A question

"Sooooooooo... where were you?" She said in a drifty voice. "Ugh, ah I; ugh-" "Were you out with a boy?"
I started to sweat. HEAVILY. "I, ugh- fine. You caught me." She gave me victorious eyes, and made one of those annoying kid voices. "Oooh! Sweetie's got a new boyfriend!" I started to blush like mad "No! I- I don't know what it is... today was awkward, okay?" Jordyn frowned. " You always like Fridays! What's wrong?" I start pouting like an infant. "Well, this guy, we've only known each other for almost two days, but we accidentally kissed by accident. He is very sweet, and not to mention how cute and funny he is! I, kinda just wanna lock myself away from him, but I have to see him at Wednesday. It's really important. But I barely know him." I walked to the couch and leaned my head on her shoulder. She started stroking my hair. "Look, y/n. You should spend some time to get to know him better! Don't just avoid him! He WILL think that you dislike of him if you do that. But for the next couple of days, focus on doing something else. You have work don't you?"
Jordyn always somehow comforts me. She makes me feel better. "Yeah! Thanks for the motivational speech, Jo. I am so lucky that you are here." She smiles. It was very warm at first, like we were sisters, but then she gave off a 'AHAHAHAH THOUGHT YOU COULD ESCAPE' look. I look at her and role my eyes. " What's your question?" "Well, who is this boy?" Oh yeah... I didn't tell her. But, she'd just freak out. Probably ask if she could meet him. "Well..." "Aw come on! He can't be that bad!" I gave a sheepish smile "His name is Lin.." I started trailing off. "Who?" "Uhh...................................................................... Lin Manuel Miranda?"
