Y/n's POV

--Monday--

I had work yesterday, so I couldn't go shopping for my clothes yesterday. I grabbed my purse and wore a simple white crop top with high waisted jeans. Since it was -8 outside,  I had to wear a jacket. It was f/c, and it had a fluffy hood.
"Jordyn? You wanna go clothes shopping with me? I just need the clothes for the party." I grabbed the keys of the kitchen counter. " Yeah,  I need clothes too." Jordyn says with enthusiasm. She gets up from the couch and puts on her shoes. "Hey! You have to use your own money this time!"  I playfully punched her arm. "Jo, you close the door this time." We walk out and get in Jordyn's Red Equinox, that she got for her last birthday.

I was actually going to buy a present for Jordyn, but since she's here, I've got to do this secretly. While thinking about what to get her, I remembered what happened last time, and how Lin paid for the necklace. My lips seeped into a frown.

Jordyn saw my frown, so she grabbed my hand and dragged me to American Eagle. "What's wrong y/n? Are you still thinking about him?" Jordyn is taking the 'kissing a celebrity' thing pretty well. "Well, it's almost Wednesday..." "Y/n, Just, try to ignore him. Focus on your part. K?" We went shopping the whole day. I went behind her back to get her a special present.

--Tuesday--

One day left. What should I do before tomorrow? I should get my gym clothes ready, so I don't have to prepare tomorrow.

After that, I just walked around the streets. I like watching the snow fall down. While walking around, I saw someone familiar. I've seen him before. He got closer, then I noticed. That's Groff. I turned the other way and walked faster. Jonathan  noticed me practically running, so he ran towards me.
"Hey! Where are yo- Y/N!?" I turned around to face him. "H-hey Jonathan." I started shaking. He's Lin's best friend. I had no idea how he'd react. "Y/n, Lin has been depressed without you. He didn't even bother changing his clothes! He has bags under his eyes." That broke my heart. Just the thought of Lin upset gave me a sinking feeling. I think Jonathan felt my breath hitching, because he hugged me gently. "Look, I know it's only been like, 5 days since you guys have met, but he's been really upset." I looked at him. Seeing that Lin actually has feelings for me that he told his friends about it made me upset. "Well, we should give him something to make him feel better. Wanna come with me to get him Starbucks? You kinda have to go because I don't know anybody else who could give it to him." He grinned. "I'd be delighted to."

We went to the nearest Starbucks, and Groff chose his favourite drink, which surprisingly was the one I got. I walked Jonathan to the theatre, and then walked back home. Hoping Jordyn wouldn't notice me.

--Wednesday--

Oh god. This is the day I am supposed to come to the theatre. I had butterflies in my stomach. I got my duffle bag and all the stuff I needed. Jordyn seemed to be in her room. "Oy! Jo, I'm going to the theatre! Lock the door on my way out!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Make sure to focus on your audition boo! Talk to Lin AFTER!" Huh. Talk to Lin? I forgot that he was going to be there. Focus, y/n, focus.

Groff somehow found me, and we chatted about random things on the way to the theatre. We had an awkward silence when we were walking to the practice room. It was a giant space filled with people who looked like professionals.
I looked out of place. Groff patted my back, and walked to a group of people. I was there, all alone, until a tall, pretty lady walked up to me. "Hi! I'm Renee. You must be y/n? Nice to meet you! Follow me!" She seemed nice. I followed her to the same group of people that Jonathan walked to. "Hey Hamilfam! This is y/n. She's here to play as Eliza!" Everybody looked like bugs, with their eyes wide open. Did they not like me? Suddenly, a girl about the same height as me walked towards us.She had perfect Cheek bones. "I can see why Lin chose you for the part. He was right on point when he said gorgeous." That made me smile. "The name's Jazzy. I'm playing as Your sister, Peggy Schuyler, and Mariah Reynolds!" We hugged each other, then I was introduced to everyone else. "Hi, I'm Philipa! You can call me Pippa. I'm your understudy!" "Hey. I'm Gro- sorry! I can't hold in the laughter!" You guys were laughing your butts off. Everyone was confused but just went with it. A bunch of others introduced themselves,
And I think one of them was Jazzy's boyfriend. Put that aside,  there was only one person left.

"Hey, my name's Daveed, but you can call me, Tonight." He kisses my  knuckles. I started to blush uncontrollably. When he stands back up, he looks behind me with fear in his eyes. "Anyways, gotta go!" He ran super speed. The other cast members pushed me away from Daveed. I saw... Lin fighting with Daveed at the cabinets. He's here. Oh god. Just, focus on your script. Just- wait... In the script, it says that Lin is playing as Alexander Hamilton... and I'm playing as Eliza. His wife. I'm going to have to kiss him in Helpless. I HAVE TO KISS HIM IN HELPLESS. Don't panic! Just, breath. It's only an act. Do it for the show. The show. Yeah.
Today was fun, but we will be learning the moves on Friday. Today was just a meet and greet day.

We were all walking out the door. All into one big mess. While walking out, I felt familiar lips press against my cheek. I walked out of the theatre flustered. Am I forgetting something? What was it, oh no. It's Maye's birthday tomorrow.

Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. Writers block can step on a lego. Well, the next chapter will be, kind of NOT be too much of Hamilton, but trust me, serious shiz is going down next chapter Anyways, gotta go drink a frappe. 1090 words are so difficult to write down.
