Chapter 13

A/N: Serena is being so controlling. -_-

Quote Thirteen: Don’t fight over a boy.

“You said his name is what?” Serena asked.

“Sam, I told him he wasn’t cute. But I was lying!” I told Serena.

“Well, I have bad news for you.”

“What happened?”

“He’s Claire’s boyfriend.”

I did not see that one coming.

“But I talked to him a few minutes ago and I asked if he had a girlfriend. And he said no!”

“He’s lying.”

“But he swore to me…”

“I don’t think it’s a good idea to be flirting with Claire’s boyfriend.”

“I didn’t know…”

“Well, now you do. Anyways, my class is right here. Stay away from her boyfriend.”

How could Sam tell me I was cute when he has a girlfriend that is my archrival!

I should probably tell Claire.

But that would start trouble.

“We have a new student in our club.”

“Hey, my name’s Sam. I feel like I can sing. That’s why I'm joining the glee club. I know for sure that this is the lamest club. Ever, and me being on the football team should bring this club up.”

“How cocky can you be?” I asked.

“Well, I hope you guys aren’t a waste of my time.”

Then he sat down in the empty seat next to me.”

“Hey beautiful, why are you in this club?”

“Please stop. And I like to sing.”

“I'm trying to be spontaneous!”

“We don’t go out.”

“So?”

“Which is bad, because from what I heard, your Claire’s boyfriend.”

“She doesn’t have to know.”

“It’s not right.”

“But I thought you were enemies!”

“She was still my best friend before and we are trying to mend our friendship.”

“I’ll break-up with her.”

“Don’t do that.”

Then the bell rang.

I can’t miss the afterschool bus.

“See you later.” He said.

I smiled and left. I'm still on the fact that he’s even in this club. I thought he was a bad boy jock type. I’ll ask him about it tomorrow.

“So did you listen to me?” Serena asked.

I had to ride Serena’s bus because for some reason, my bus did not show up.

“Yeah, I guess.”

“Then what’s sticking out your backpack?”

Sure enough, it was Sam’s number.

“Taylor, I'm warning you.”

“I know, I know.”

“And you know what that evil perky moron told me? She says you guys are mending your relationship.”

Ugh, how did she find out?

“I don’t know. I think.”

“What the hell Taylor?”

“I’m starting to think I exaggerated a bit.”

“Maybe she's brainwashing you too.”

“It’s a thought.”

“Don’t forget everything she has done. Any who, guess what's today.”

“Are you talking about Glee?”

“Girl no, well yes, but that’s not what I'm talking about.”

“Then what are you talking about?”

“It’s the assembly.”

“Yes! So the plan is back in action?”

“You bet.”
