Chapter 3

Or maybe fan girl was too humane a word to use. Larisa and Kiara went nuts over it and the following few months were full of hushed whispers in the corners of class and in the bus, much to Lily's annoyance. They would scream random ship names around the school which meant nothing to everyone else but them. Then came another shock and that was when things began to sink in. Lily told them that she was leaving in the first week of July. The moment they heard it, Larisa screamed, "Noooo!",

while Kiara blasted, "You savage how can you leave before our birthday?!".

 Lily tried to comfort them but it was useless.

The whole day, Larisa and Kiara were feeling tired, sick and depressed. The truth was finally sinking in. They had not expected to be left with so little time with their best friend. Immediately, party plans began. Lily gave them full control over organizing her party but little did she know that those two like always, were one step ahead. They came up with a mastermind plan. They first planned a party which a lot of people were invited to. However, unknown to Lily, everyone purposely called saying that they couldn't come. Ultimately, only Larisa and Kiara would turn up and they would have a blast. However, the best part was that the next day, the rest of the friends would show up and Lily would have a double party!

These plans were made with full devotion as Kiara and Larisa tried to cover their misery by making plans and annoying Lily but deep inside, they both had a gnawing feeling. They just couldn't stop thinking about her leaving. It was hard for them to imagine how they would survive her last day, their last day together, and then after that, the days, probably years, that would follow after that before they met again.
