Chapter 5

Trevor's POV

Who is that sitting at the back next to Eva?

"Trevor who are you staring at?" asked Jasper. A mischievous grin spread on his face. "I think Trev here is finally in love."

" Trev!! Who?", "Finally, is the right word" ," who though?" said a chorus of voices around him.

"Huh?" said Trevor. "What are you guys talking about?"

"Don't try to hide it Trev. We can all see it on your face" said Jasper.

"What am I hiding? I don't understand." said Trevor, confusion spreading across his face. Jasper replied with a look that just said "Really?".

"Is it really that obvious?" asked Trevor.

"Yes and I'm just going to leave you to your thoughts" replied Jasper.

Thank God. Was it really that obvious? I'm so confused . I've never felt like this before.

He turned to look at her again. Did she just wave? Umm what do I do? I'm just going to turn back.

Somehow he finally made it to class without drowning in thoughts about the girl. As he walked in class with high hopes for the day, he noticed her sitting in the corner with Eva. She is in my class?!! Umm, am I supposed to talk to her or should I pretend I don't exist. Well let's at least find out her name.

With his goal in mind, Trevor walked over to where Eva was sitting. "Hey Eva how are you doing? I haven't talked to you in a while, so I thought I might as well talk" he said fumbling for a way to start the conversation.

"I'm fine as good as always. By the way have you met Lily? She's new here, just came from Bangalore." said Eva. Thanking her inside for saving his awkward start, he looked toward the girl he's been thinking about for the last hour.

"Hi Trevor, nice to meet you" said Lily, trying not to mumble. She's so pretty. Her name is so perfect. Lily. A perfect name for such a delicate, beautiful angel, just like a flower, like a rose. "Hey" he replied. I sounded so mean. What do I say. I'm normally so smooth what happened to me?

He reached out to shake her hand, but when he touched her she dropped the bottle she was holding. He caught it and returned it to her, making sure not to brush her soft hands and said, "I think you dropped this" His eyes met hers and he gazed at her stunning green brown eyes. His eyes wandered to the rest of her face, taking in the pure innocence of it. Tearing his eyes away Trevor got up and walked over back to his table and sat in the seat next to Jasper in deep thought.

I don't know what to do. I like her. Okay fine I'm in love. But does she like me? I don't know what is happening to me.

Interrupting Trevor's train of thought, Jasper whispered, "I found out who. It's Lily isn't it?

"Shut up. How do you know her name?"

"I got my sources bruh, Jealous much? "

"No but seriously how?"

"Just kidding bro. I met her when I went to talk to Eva"

"Ohh and what is Regina doing here?"

"Trying to flirt with you"

"Ughhhh"

"Don't worry, let me deal with her", Jasper hinted, a gleam of mischief sparkling in his eyes.

I zoned out after that. Lost in the thoughts of Lily. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I didn't hear what Jasper said but by the look on Regina's face as she stormed off, it was probably some roast. Oh well, Regina was at the bottom of my priorities.
