I stumbled back, tripping over my own two feet. I saw a pair of hands reach for me but they only managed to grasp thin air. A second after hitting the hard ground, I saw another body tumbling down. Whoever it was managed the stop themselves from squashing me into a pancake by landing on their ready forearms. It had all happened in a second and I found myself starring wide-eyed with shock into a pair of equally shocked, bright green eyes. They belonged to Teddy.

"Victoire?! I'm so sorry...again." He said, shocked.

"Uh...N-No, it was my fault too. I should have been looking..." I breathed back.

"Sorry to interrupt, but some of us are tired here!" I heard someone shout from the group of first-years. It sounded a lot like James Potter. A few nervous giggles followed, but most just starred down at us with shared embarrassment. Alroy forgot his serious role, and smiled slightly with amusement, while raising an eyebrow at me.

"Oh...right" Teddy mumbled, suddenly remembering we had an audience. He nearly jumped back up and offered me a hand, which I gladly accepted. I felt my cheeks heat up, probably flushing an ugly red, and judging by the colour of his cheeks, he felt just like me. Teddy Tonks, for once, had lost his cool.

"Alright...um, well I guess I was right when I said see you later on the train. I hope that next time, it will be a little bit different, you know, no falling or shoving or such." He said, shoving his hands in his pockets and locking his eyes on to mine.

"Yeah, that would be nice.  I don't need to be falling any more than what I already do." I decided to late that what I had said sounded a little too stupid, but Teddy just chuckled and smiled at me.

"Well, next time I see you around, lets not knock each other over.  I'll see you later then." He smiled once more, but no wink, and walked by me into the Great Hall.

I had never paid much attention to Teddy.  When I had seen him first at that one Christmas spent with the Weasleys', I had to admit, I was a little interested.  But at that time, he had seemed to be so much older than me.  He would always sit at the table long after all the other children had been excused, just sitting there talking to Mr. Potter and all of the other adults.  At Hogwarts, I'd heard different stories.  Apparently he is a prankster, a player, a joker, immature, an amazing Quidditch player (which is expected, considering he's the Captain), a flirt, and very hot (affirmative).  I wasn't sure what to believe, yes he has had his fair share of girlfriends, but I decided not to judge him based on that.

I turned around, facing the silent audience and nodded to Alroy to keep going.  "Alright, just ignore and forget what just happened.  Now as you see, the stairs we are nearing--" Alroy went on, giving all his knowledge to the first-years who looked around with awe.  My cheeks were still burning, and I kept repeating what had been said between me and Teddy inside my head.  I was silent up until the Common room, where I turned around and said, "The password is Flobberworm, and please remember to keep this a secret, and only share it with other Gryffindors." to which I received understanding and eager nods.  I turned back to the Fat Lady and said, "Flobberworm" once more.  She smiled and said, "Of course." before swinging open, revealing the Gryffindor Common room.  I escaped as quickly as possible after that, falling into the bed next to a snoring Kyra.

After pouring blood, sweat, and tears into getting a violent Kyra out of bed, I went down to the Great Hall, pulling the grumpy Kyra after me.  Darren waved us over, having taken seats near the entrance.  Alroy was deeply focused on a new copy of the Daily Prophet, his eyebrows furrowing at the concentration.  "What happened to you?" Darren asked the frowning Kyra.
