Victoire's P.O.V
Another Monday morning meant another day of dragging Kyra out of bed, which only got me in a bad mood as well. As I was pulling a moaning and groaning Kyra behind me, I glanced at the notice board that had a big sheet of yellow paper that nearly covered everything else. The headline was shown in clear, black letters that spelled out, QUIDDITCH.
I stopped in my tracks and Kyra collided with me from behind. "What?! What was that for?! You don't just--" She started but I grabbed her face and turned it towards the notice board. A second later her eyes nearly fell out of her head. Forgetting her morning tradition, she jumped towards it with new found energy. A few moments later she turned back to me with her eyes wide, "Have you read this Tori?! It's amazing!" She started loudly reading off the paper,
"Due to recent special requests by students, Quidditch will be coming back this year with some slight differences. Under the duration of the coming march break, a tournament will be held between the Hogwarts houses and the two present schools. Each house and the two schools have been given the permission to form a Quidditch team to their liking. For more information, please ask the house Quidditch captains, your headmaster or headmistress, or a teacher. Quidditch captains, for practice time and rights, please consult your house leader, headmaster, or headmistress."
Kyra squealed excitedly after she finished reading it loudly. She had managed to attract many interested and happy stares.
"What's all this about?" Darren yawned as he came down the stairs with Alroy.
"We get to play Quidditch!" Kyra said and attacked him with a hug which left him with reddening ears.
"Um..You're kidding, right?" He asked, still taken back by the hug.
"No! Look!" She said and led him towards the notice board. A few seconds later, they were both jumping up and down and squealing like little girls.
"Very manly Darren." Alroy said, unfazed by the news about Quidditch.
"Lay off, these are the best news that I've had in the last few weeks." He said with a broad smile, "Even better than when Professor Sinistra announced that we had no homework for a week!"

Everywhere in the Great Hall, the words 'Quidditch' and 'march break' echoed over and over again as the news were passed on and discussed. Even the dungeons seemed brighter and warmer that morning after hearing the news. Professor Faraquhar greeted us that morning with a bigger smile than ever. He was somewhere in his early thirties with dirty blonde hair that nearly reached his shoulders. A pair of small, round glasses were always securely sitting on the bridge of his nose and he was quite tall and skinny. His personality always managed to take the depressing nature out of the dungeons.
"Well then, welcome class to another Monday. Today I thought that we should try something that isn't in the O.W.Ls teaching requirements. It's slighly more advanced compared to what we usually do in this class, but I thought it could be fun. Though I warn you, the actual making of the potion won't come up in the O.W.Ls, but the questions you'll have to answer in the form of an essay at the end might be." A groan erupted around the classroom as the thought of another addition to their pile of homework would only make things worse. "I know, I know, it's terribly boring, but I have to, I kinda like this job. Anyway, the potion is called the Love Potion Antidote...no need of explaining what it does." He said sarcastically to which some students laughed slightly. "Anyway, the testing of this potion will be hard so unless we have any volunteers that are willing to try the actual love potion I have here, I'll just have to grade the finishing products by the look and smell. Don't worry, I have permission from McGonagall and an actual Love Potion Antidote with me. Alright, lets get started. Surprisingly enough, you'll find the recipe in the back of your Potions' book on page 384. Take out your cauldrons, the ingredients are in the cupboard and find a partner. You're welcome to start whenever you're ready." He finished and sat down at his desk, behind a cauldron full of clear liquid, which must have been a brewed Love Potion Antidote and a flask of a pink liquid.
