Forever Greatful

A week past and Diana was released from the hospital. Xavier was asleep in his room. Diana and I held eachother close as we layed in bed. It felt so good to have her back in my arms. She was affectionate and followed me everywhere when we came home. She played with my chest hair. Her hands gave me chills. "Robbie?" she said. I love when called me that. "Yes." I replied. "I love you." I smiled against her forehead and gave it a kiss. "I love you, too." "I like this. Laying here in your arms. I missed it." "Me too. I'm never letting you go." "Your so cuddly." I chuckled. She sat up pressing her lips against mine. Layed over me planting kisses on my jawline and neck. She massaged my member as she attacked my neck. God, I missed this. She slipped me inside her rocking her hips against me. I laid back moaning with pleasure. She felt so amazing. She moved faster panting and moaning. I could see the lust in her eyes she moved against. I turned her over thrusting into her. She arch her back and moaned. I knew I was hitting the right spot. I thrusted harder into her. I could feel her nails dig into my skin. It excited me even more. I finally released and held Diana close. We were out of breath. I can feel her body shake from the climax. I smiled down at her giving her a kiss.

*One year later*

I had just put the banner up on the wall. My boy is a year old. "Dada!" shouted Xavier smiling in his walker. I picked him up placing a kiss on his cheek. "Do you like your birthday banner?" I asked him. He mumbled while pointing. "I'll take that as a yes." I sat him down on the floor while I fixed the balloons. Diana walks in letting out a gasp. She pointed at Xavier and I looked. He was slowly getting up from the floor. He stood there holding his arms in front of him. He took one step foward and then another one. I immediately took out my video camera and began shooting his first steps. He kept walking toward Diana smiling. "You do it! Walk to mommy." she cooed kneeling down to his level. He walked closer and into her arms. "Good Job! I'm so proud of you." "Let's get him to walk to me." I said handing her the camera. I knelt down as she sat him down. "Okay Xavier come to Daddy." He gets up holding his arms out laughing. "Your doing it!" He made it to me and I held him tight. "That's my boy! Daddy loves you so much." "Xavier's first steps and on his birthday." "I'm proud of him." The guest arrived and we all celebrated his birthday. He was all over the place playing the other kids. More like walking. We sang happy birthday to him. He blew out the candle and dug his hand into the cake. He had it all over his face. I put some on my nose and laughed. Today was the best ever.

Today is the day. As I stood there at the alter with Joseph at my side as best man. I was waiting for the love of my life walk down that aisle. All the tragedies before didn't matter. I'm about to start a new chapter with my family. The music played and everyone stood as Diana comes out accompanied by her father. She was beautiful in that long white laced dress. Her brown curly locks hung from her shoulders. She held the bauquet of flowers in one hand. That goregous smile planted on her plump red lips. The smile in which I worked hard to bring back in her life. I took her hand as she stood in front of me. Tears were forming in my eyes. God, I'm such a baby. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today celebrating this couples unification. As they are to be wed under the sight of you and God. The couple as decided to say there own vows. Robert you go first." said the minister. I gazed into Diana's warm hazel eyes. "Diana, I stand here before you as a man longing for a new start. A start that begins with you by my side. I remember that first day I met you. You took my breath away and I made it my mission to not only have you be mine but to bring a smile that was once lost back into your life. I promise to never harm you. I will love, care, and be truthful to you. For as long as God himself lets me. I love you Diana." Tears fell from her eyes. Hell mine too as I placed tge ring on her finger. "Robert, before you I lived a life full of darkness and despair. There were times I wanted to part from this world. Then you showed up in my life. You gave me love, affection, and hope. You've showed me that there still is love in this cruel world. You just have to grab ahold of it while its still there. I'm forever greatful to have you in my life. Your my light and I found you." She placed the ring on my finger. "And with that I know pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss your bride." I crashed my lips against hers. I held her tightly against me as we kissed. Finally, Diana was now mine. I have my family. The one thing I truely need was complete. I couldn't be anymore happier.
