It all started the moment Jax had officially asked you to be his. The insecurities came flooding in and the fear of him cheating on you went through the roof. Your past relationships were being brought to the forefront of your mind, you knew Jax was different but who was to say he wouldn't do the same? Especially with his past record with girls.
Cheating was a done deal for you and it had made that very clear when Jax asked you out. He cheats, it's over. Which was something that he agreed to right before he fucked you into oblivion, so maybe he didn't really mean it....maybe?
So with all that being said, when you walked into the clubhouse that evening to ask Jax if he was coming home tonight for dinner, and you saw that stupid slut, Ima, straddling him, you stopped short. He didn't have his hands on her like you would have expected but he also wasn't pushing her away like he should have. Soon enough your vision got blurry as tears made their appearance and you looked around with a quivering lip as Tig, Bobby, and Chibs gave you a sympathetic look.
Turning around you stomped out of the clubhouse, without Jax ever realizing you were there, and ran straight into Gemma. Great. The one person who couldn't stand you most in this world, she had the best timing. Giving you a wicked smirk she figured what was going on when she spotted Ima's car sitting in the lot.
"Oh honey, I'd rather have that slut for my boy than I would you. You know it's just a matter of time before he dumps you out on the street right?" She leaned in close, whispering harshly, "With how you are, I'm surprised he hasn't even done it yet."
The tears were flowing freely. Now was not the time for Gemma to say the hateful things she usually did and she knew that which was why she was taking advantage of the situation, "W-what have I ever done to you Gemma?"
"Nothing sweetheart, I just know who's right for Jax and who's not. It's my job to get rid of the ones who aren't. If I don't make him realize it himself. And by the way you're acting right now, he probably just figured it out." She pat your shoulder as she brushed past you towards the clubhouse's entrance, "Maybe if you were better in bed he wouldn't be panting for a whore."
You stood there in shock as you hugged yourself, barely holding back a sob, yet you continued to cry as the words Gemma said bounced around in your head. There was always that doubt of you not being good enough for Jax and now it was validated. By both him and Gemma. Usually you could take her shit and brush it off but with what you saw inside you took everything she said to heart.
There was only one thing left to do and that was to go back to Jax's house, pack what little you had, and find somewhere new to stay. When he asked you to move in with him two months ago he had convinced you to sell your apartment, which was a stupid idea on your part.
As you walked back over to your car you heard your name come from behind you in that voice you loved so much. You could hear the smile in his voice, but you just kept walking. Once he caught up, he turned you around and you saw that smile disappear into a frown. His hand shot up to cup your cheek but you veered your head to the side causing his confusion to deepen.
