There were only two people here; you and Matt. Your old childhood best friend. He hated you now, of course, and had no idea Damon had turned you just a few hours before.

You could hear his heart pounding in his chest, all of his blood flowing through each individual vein...

The next thing you knew you hated him. You hated him for abandoning you to date Elena, you hated him for leaving you to fall for an asshole like Damon.

You were on top of him, sucking his warm blood from his large body. This went on for a few minutes before you heard clapping from behind you.

"I like your choice in meal, love," an unfamiliar voice commented.

You pulled away, horrified that you had almost killed an innocent. "Shit!" You yelled, backing away and into a solid form. You whirled around, surprised when you saw a good-looking man standing before you.

"I take it you're still new?" The man questioned, earning a nod from you.

"Who are you?" You demanded in response, taking a step closer.

"Kol Mikaelson," he replied, tilting his head cockily. "I can help you, if you want. Such a pretty girl shouldn't have to go through this alone." He closed the space between you, a rush of heat flowing through your body as he did so.

"You're an original then," you thought out loud, staring up into his chocolate eyes.

"And is that what's turning you on or is it my devilishly good looks?" Kol laughed as you blushed, breaking eye contact. "I can smell you. And I can teach you to do it, too."

You thought for a moment before squeezing your hands together behind your back and remembering Matt. "My emotions are heightened, right?"

"Yeah, I'm assuming why you attacked him." Kol's arms snaked around your waist as he pulled you toward the door, lifting you bridal style when he got tired of herding you.

"You'll show me how to control that?" You wrapped your arms around his neck, allowing him effortless control over where you were going.

"And so much more," he confirmed, dropping his voice to a tone that sent shivers down your spine. "How about I show you just how amazing being a vampire feels?"

"I'd like that. I'd like that a lot."
