Brandon's POV
"Brandon?" Kenzie asks shaking me to wake me up. "Yeah?" I ask. "Can you come with me to the vending machine?" She asks. I nod and get out of bed. She smiles and waits for me to get up. Then she takes my hand and walks out the room. "So what's going on with you and Zach?" I ask. Her eyes widen and her grip on my hand tightens at the mention of Zach. "We're friends." She fake smiles. "What did he do?" I ask looking at her. "Nothing." She says cautiously. I hit the red stop button on the elevator which causes it to stop. "What did he do?" I ask looking at her with stern eyes. "He kissed me." She says quietly. "MACKENZIE!" I yell looking at her in disbelief. "I DIDN'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN IT JUST HAPPENED!" She yells with a tear in her eyes. "Please. Please don't cry." I say wiping her tears. She takes my hand and looks at my arm. "It's still there." She mumbles looking at the scar from when I cut her name into my arm. "Yeah." I sigh looking at it. "I... I'm sorry you felt the need to do that." She says a tear rolling down her cheek. "You've down worst. I'm sorry you feel the need to do this." I say lifting up her sleeve to reveal two bloody lines and multiple other white lines. "Wait..." I mumble looking at the two bloody lines. "Kenzie.." I say looking at her. "Wow how did that get there..." She says nervously. "Kenzie." "The kiss. It was eating me alive. It kills me that I can't tell Hunter. I want to so badly. I just don't want him to overreact." She cries. I hug her. "No more cutting." I mumble hugging her tighter. "I know." She sighs. I pull out of the hug and let her hit the red button so the elevator starts moving again. "You have to tell Hunter." I sigh. She nods. "Tonight." I say looking at her. "Ok." She sighs as the elevator stops on the main floor. We go to the vending machines and she gets a water and a bag of Flamin' Hots. She also gets me a bag of Flamin' Hots and a Pepsi. "Thanks." I smile as we walk into the elevator and go up to our floor. When we get into the room Hunter is sitting up in his bed. "There you are." He smiles hugging Kenz. "Hunter can we talk?" She asks, looking at me for some sign that she was doing the right thing. I nod and she sighs.
Hunter's POV
Kenzie takes my hand and pulls me out to the elevator. We get in and she hits the red button which stops it. I look at her confused. "I brought you here because when you hear what I'm about to say there is a huge possibility that you will run away and won't talk to me." She sighs. I look at her confused. "Zach... Zach kissed me." She says really fast. "I didn't mean for it to happen. We were just caught up in the moment and then he leaned in and by the time I processed what was happening it was already over and I.. I just don't want to lose you. The kiss meant nothing." She says really fast. "Kenz." I say looking at her. "I know you're mad at me and I would be too. I cheated on you." She rambles. I shut her up by slamming my lips onto hers. She smiles. I pull away. "The kiss meant nothing to you?" I ask. "Me and Zach's kiss? No." She sighs. "Then there's nothing I need to worry about." I say hugging her tightly. She looks at me in surprise. "But one thing..." I say slowly.
Kenzie's POV
"But one thing..." Hunter says slowly. I look up at him. "Stay away from Zach... Please." He says looking down at me. I nod. "What about Nick?" "He's cool." Hunter laughs.
Stay away from Zach. That shouldn't be hard. No it won't be hard. It will be impossible.
