Calum sat in his last class of the day, taking notes as quickly as he can. He hated how fast the classes were. There was no way to copy all the information in what feels like the five seconds the slide is projected on screen.

It also didn't help that he was up drinking last night. He wasn't really hungover, he was mostly just tired from the lack of sleep.

He was ready to just go and see Danielle, since they haven't seen each other since before school started, even though they live in the same city.

"Okay, now make sure you go online and do the homework!" The professor says, raising her voice over all the commotion of students rushing to leave.

Calum quickly puts his laptop into his bag, and pulls out his phone as he heads out of the class.

As he walks out of the class he bumps into somebody, dropping his phone.

"Fuck." He mutters, "I'm sorry."

"Oh, no, it's fine."

"Oh, Alyssa, hey." Calum says, looking up at the girl he ran into after picking up his phone.

"Hey, Calum." She smiles.

"Do you have another class today?" He asks, as they start walking down the hall.

"No, I'm just heading back to residence. How about you?" She asks.

"You live in residence too? And no, I'm off to visit my- uh- my friend." Calum replies, as the two get to the closest exit door.

"Hey, then maybe I'll see you around the residence building. We'll probably be seeing a lot of each other." She smiles as the two head off in opposite directions.

Calum kept looking over at Alyssa as he approached the lot where his car was parked.

He didn't know what to think of her. He knew he shouldn't think of her at all, for Danielle. But she was just somebody in his program. That's all.

Calum got in his car, hoping to get to Danielle in a reasonable time. She was staying with her grandmother while going to university to be a closer to the school without the crazy costs of residence. Calum was just glad she was still nearby.

The ride to Danielle's was filled with loud music and frustrated groans as traffic was slow.

Calum just wanted to see his girlfriend. He was very impatient in traffic, as most people were.

By the time Calum finally got to Danielle's he wasn't in a great mood from the traffic. He didn't know why he agreed to come her house after class when it was rush hour and she lived so close to downtown.

When he knocks on the door, it opens almost immediately. Danielle smiles, letting him in, "Hey."

"Hey, babe." He smiles back, before quickly kissing her lips.

She giggles, "I need a nap and I need you to nap with me. Those are our plans for now."

Calum chuckles as she grabs his hand, pulling him towards her room, "Okay, I guess those are our plans."

They ended up taking their nap, then the pair had dinner together before Danielle's grandma got home. Calum left soon after, knowing it would take half an hour to get back to campus.

As he sat in his car he quietly hummed along to the music playing from the radio. He just wanted to get home at this point, he was already tired again.

He pulls into the residence parking lot, parking the car and getting out. Calum takes his time walking into the large building.

Calum smiles at the student working the front desk after showing his residence ID, though he was annoyed he constantly had to pull his ID out to get in.

When he arrives at the elevators, somebody quickly walks on the elevator to make sure they don't miss it. Calum looks over, and he sees Alyssa.

"Oh, hey." Calum says, a grin on his face when he sees her.

"Calum, hi!" She replies, smiling up at him after pressing the 3 button to get to her floor.

Calum felt weird for taking note of what floor she lived on, but he also needed to hit the 5 button for himself.

"I noticed you come in from your car, it must be nice having a way to easily get off campus." She chuckles.

"Yeah, except all of my two friends here always expect me to get to them, but they're downtown and traffic is crazy."

It was true, Danielle would never try to come out this way, and if Ashton does, it's just for the parties.

The elevator makes a noise, signalling they're on Alyssa's floor.

"Well, I'll probably see you in a class tomorrow!" She calls as she gets off.

Calum laughs, waving at her as the door closes.

He couldn't help but smile around Alyssa, though he's only known her for about a day. She seemed so happy and he loved being around people like that.

He knew Danielle would have an issue with him having a girl friend here, though.

That's why he planned on never telling her.
