"Calum, you literally have the best place to live." Luke says, as him and Ashton trail behind Calum.

Calum chuckles, swiping his key to get into his room, "Its pretty great."

"But seriously, you live on the campus, and there are girls everywhere. What else could you want?" Luke says, a small laugh escaping his mouth as he drops his stuff.

"I mean I have a girlfriend, but yeah, I get what you're saying." Calum replies.

There's a knock at the door, and Calum looks confused before heading towards the door to open it.

"Oh, Alyssa, hey." Calum says, holding the door open slightly so they can only see each other.

But Ashton heard Calum, and grabbed the door, pulling it open all the way.

"Oh, I didn't realize you had people here, I'll talk to you later." Alyssa awkwardly laughs, smiling at Calum.

Calum sighs, "Alyssa-"

"So this is the famous Alyssa. I'm glad to finally meet you. I'm Ashton, Cal's best friend." Ashton smiles, reaching out to shake her hand.

She accepts, shaking his hand, "It's nice to meet you, I've heard a bit about you."

"Okay, well, Ashton, can I please speak to her without you interrupting please?" Calum asks, turning and sending a glare to his friend standing behind him.

"Cal, it's okay. I was just checking in to make sure you're feeling better, I was just across the hall at Kristen's, but I see everybody here is fine, so I'll be heading downstairs now-"

"No, join us! I want to know all about who Calum's replacing me with." Ashton jokes, motioning for her to come in.

Calum rolls his eyes, "Don't say stupid shit like that, you're going to make her hate me."

"Really, it's okay. But I have plans with Talia anyways, I'll see you guys around, okay?" Alyssa lightly laughs, backing away from the door, further into the hallway.

"Text me, okay?" Calum says as she waves, making her way down the hall.

As soon as the door closes, Calum turns to Ashton and punches him in the shoulder, "What the fuck, Ashton."

"Ow! I'm just joking around! But Danielle is okay with this? It's like, borderline cheating." Ashton says, holding onto his arm where Calum had punched him.

"I'm not cheating!" Calum exclaims, really wanting to punch Ashton again.

"I said borderline." Ashton replies, rolling his eyes at his best friend.

"You're a pain in the ass." Calum mutters, running a hand through his hair.

"Can you two just shut the fuck up." Luke interrupts, walking out of the bathroom.

Calum just sighs, walking into his room, Ashton and Luke both following him. They all find a place to sit, even though they'll be leaving shortly to party in Kurtis and Jacob's room.

There's a knock at Calum's door, and there stands Michael, "Hey, Ashton. Hey... kid I don't know."

"Hey, Michael, this is Luke." Calum says, looking up from his phone to sort of introduce them.

"You're all joining us at Kurtis and Jacob's tonight?" Michael asks, all of them nodding in response. "Great, I can't wait to get fucked up with you guys."

Most of the guys that were friends on the floor were all going to Kurtis and Jacob's room for what they were calling 'boys night'. They're all just going to get drunk on beer while watching basketball. It was something they enjoyed though, and something to do when the girls left them out on their 'girls nights'.

Calum chuckles as Michael leaves the room, and he looks over at Luke, "Yeah, so that was Michael."

"Where did Luke just go?" Ashton asks Calum.

"Uh... I think he left with a girl, actually?" Calum replies, scanning the crowded room of college kids with bottles or red cups in their hands.

As soon as Cody and Marcus got a text from Erin saying girls night was done and that they were partying in their room, boys night was over and they all headed down the hall.

"Wow, good for him." Ashton says, chuckling as he brings his cup to his lips.

When Calum looks from Ashton towards the door, he sees Alyssa walk in with Talia. He knew this could be bad, but he pushed all negative thoughts out of his head.

"Cal!" She calls, coming over to hug him like she does at most parties, since she shows up already drunk like most people do.

Ashton gives them a strange look, as Calum and Alyssa hold each other tightly. Calum sees him, and quickly pulls away, Alyssa still smiling up at him.

"Ashton, hi!" She smiles, he gives her a small wave.

"Are you doing okay?" Calum chuckles as she giggles.

"Just drunk, you know." She laughs, her smile never leaving her face, "I'm going to see Talia, I'll see you soon!"

When she rushes off to find her roommate, Calum looks over at Ashton with sheepish grin, somewhat embarrassed and partially nervous.

Ashton chuckles, shaking his head, "Dude, she totally wants to fuck you."

"Stop! It's not funny!" Calum groans.

"It's true!" Ashton replies.

Calum sighs, "Okay, I have to go. You know your way back to my room, I'll see you later."

Ashton rolls his eyes as Calum takes off, rushing out of the room as fast as he can.

At this point Calum just wanted to sleep forever and not have to deal with any this.
